Epaderm Cream is a 2-in-1 emollient and skin cleanser for eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. You may also seek advice from the local Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). PALS are not part of the complaints procedure itself but they might be able to resolve your concerns informally or they can tell you more about the complaints procedure and independent complaints advocacy services: Epaderm Cream is especially effective if applied immediately after washing or swimming to counteract the loss of essential oils from the skin. Emollients are particularly helpful for people with dry skin, which is often the cause of widespread itch; they are especially effective if applied immediately after washing or swimming . Emollients can help to reduce the risk of skin tears .

How to use Epaderm Cream Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin although it may not be completely removed, unless it is washed at a high temperature as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time

Epaderm Cream is an emollient formulated with clinically proven ingredients that moisturise and soften the skin. It has no fragrances or colourings making it ideal for treating a wide range of dry skin conditions. As an emollient: Apply Epaderm Cream generously and massage into the affected area. Use as an when it’s needed.
