This scent gives me a working mature woman or maybe a girl going out to the club. It's so synthetic, I'm positive this is a 100% fragrance oil perfume. Honestly its reminiscent of Liz Taylor perfumes, even with the quartz crystal bottle holder giving those "sparkling white diamonds" vibes. REM gives me way more of a "men's aftershave" vibe than Good Girl (or any other women's perfume I have tried), that being said, I think it's lovely. Ari could/should have marketed this as unisex, but oh well, that ship has sailed. But I hate lavender, and I can smell it clearly in this, so that might be swaying my opinion. I really love this salty lavender perfume. It's a rather weird concept, but it's the first thing I can detect. The salt, which rounds off the lavender, and gives the quince that gourmand taste, like fruit with a little salt. I can also smell some coconut,(which is more like the milkiness of the fig), so I understand the comparison with the Cloud. But it has nothing to do with it.

Lavender, to me, is a note that I avoid because it smells masculine to me. I think the lavender in this fragrance is nice though. The lavender gives this fragrance a relaxing, aromatic vibe to it. This scent would be perfect for rainy weather, cuddly days, and sleepy nights. |The luscious new fragrance opens with sparkling fruits and an ultra-feminine floralcy, passionately spun with musks, woods, and an addictive hint of marshmallow. At first, the scent is more fresh and masculine. You can clearly smell the lavender. I don't like more masculine perfumes on myself, but weirdly, this one is an exception.

I can see the Mason Margiela Coffee Break vibe with the lavender and tonka however it is missing the distinct coffee note. As well CB is a bit more floral that's missing from REM; but they have similar DNAs. I LOVE this perfume. I would say it’s more developed, layered and unisex than the rest of ari’s gorg perfumes. It's quite cosy and warm, so would probably be better in colder weather. While it isn't very strong it has lasted on my skin for most of the day, and for the cost it wouldn't bother me having to overspray this a bit to smell it well. Not in love though, and not sure I want a full bottle, but I will keep trying the tester in case it grows on me. The projection is fair, longevity about 4 hours. But since I usually spray perfume when I freshen up myself mid day, so I don't find the sillage and lasting power as a problem. Nothing in this screams too much, yet this is wonderfully pleasing and calming to wear throughout the day even on the warmest day.I received a tester of this one and have been wearing it all day. It's quite nice, not my favourite scent, but it's pleasant to sit in. I agree that it leans more unisex than feminine. I love lavender and this is one of my top 5 favourite perfumes ever. I crave it. I want it. Half of the time, I will start off my day with one perfume and end with this one.

Super strong and long-lasting! I was excited to try it because I love MM Coffee Break but this one isn't for me. It's way too heavy on the lavender - it reminds me of a bathroom air freshener. I don't really get much of that sweetness and I can't really detect any individual notes other than the lavender. I would consider this unisex and I think it could work on anyone, you just have to love lavender. Personally I think this would have been better with a vanilla or milk note, something to tame it down and turn it into a more relaxing lavender, rather than the bold, slightly harsh lavender that it is. I find myself reaching for this one more often during Autumn as it's a very comforting, balanced scent with lavender that lulls me to an ease of calm. I like some sweetness to my perfumes, but I like it cut by other interesting notes, so I generally can't stand things like Pink Sugar or Ariana's Sweet Like Candy that are pure sugar. But, while waiting for a friend, I tried REM on a whim because the bottle was so pretty, and wow, talk about love at first sniff. When I first smelled it I didn’t like it as the alcohol was slightly overpowering, once you let it dry down though it is angelic

The Touch Of Gourmand Is Heightened To A Truly Sophisticated Level With A Heart Of Orris Butter, Decadent White Praline.All I can smell is salt and lavender. It’s quite interesting, although this is more of a ghost scent: you don’t smell almost any of it when you wear it, but then suddenly someone says you smell nice. When it dries down after a while, it becomes sweet, not masculine at all, reminds me of a lavender scented cookie.
