The weight range on the chair is up to 275 pounds. Unfortunately, when my 205-pound husband attempted to get out of the chair, the aluminum framing on one side completely broke clean.To close the footrest, you have to pull forward slightly on it and then push it down. It’s not a big deal during setup, but when you’re already sitting in it with your feet propped up, it is hard to finagle (especially if you’ve got a pregnant belly, like me). Aluminum is a common material in beach chairs, so rusting can be a common occurrence. To prolong the life of your beach chairs, keeping them in a dry, covered area can prevent tarnishing. After using your beach chairs, leave them out to dry when you get home, before putting them away in storage.

Beach chairs are there to enhance your state of relaxation, so we can’t talk about their performance without at least mentioning comfort. There are fabric cup holders on the sides of each arm rest. The cupholders are standard in terms of size, comfortably fitting soda cans. Only one of the cupholders was big enough to fit my 40-ounce Stanley tumbler, though not supportive enough to hold it upright when the cup is full.

Performance

This chair did not skimp on features – perhaps to its detriment. The extra wide armrests, head support, 5 reclining positions, adjustable lumbar support, face cushion, and cavity (similar to that of a massage table) are enough to keep you comfortable all day.
