The Britannica All New Children's Encyclopedia: What We Know and What We Don't (Britannica Books, first edition 2020) [27] The way the author describes how the Earth was formed and started to have life as well as how and what happened until the first Homo Sapiens started to walk around our Planet is simply fabulous, serious, grounded on scientific studies and described in a very simple way. I am sure there is a lot of thought provoking material and footage in this series, however, right from the beginning, at around 1:30, there is that claim about Earth's motion and humans feeling it or not, that prevented me from continuing watching. What on Earth Happened?: The Complete Story of the Planet, Life, and People from the Big Bang to the Present Day In 2010, wanting to publish a children's version of What on Earth Happened?, Lloyd teamed up with illustrator Andy Forshaw to pioneer a new format for big history storytelling that would feature a giant illustrated visual timeline that could be pulled-out and displayed on a wall, as well as read like a book. The Wallbooks were designed to give young people an integrated view of the world by contextualising knowledge through connections. Lloyd describes it as reviving the traditional art of telling stories through highly illustrated and intricate timelines such as the Codex Zouche-Nuttall and the Bayeux Tapestry. This resulted in the formation of What on Earth Publishing, a non-fiction publishing house. For the first five years Lloyd and Forshaw ran the publishing company as a lifestyle business, producing a new Wallbook once a year. They teamed up with the Natural History Museum (Nature Wallbook), the Science Museum (Science Wallbook), The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (Shakespeare Wallbook)and the National Trust (British History Wallbook). Third, there was an underlying bias towards pre-bronze age humanity being this kind of arcadian idealized society (or rather societies), and sort of unspoiled paradise. Evils such as war and disease are presented to have entered the picture only once weaponizeable metals are discovered and mankind settles down to farm rather than forage for good.Humanimal - Incredible Ways Animals Are Just Like Us (What on Earth Publishing, first edition 2019)

Second, and this is worse in my opinion: Like I said, I already have a good grasp of the concepts presented because I have read many other books on these subjects. The author is a historian, not an anthropologist, and distressingly often I found things that were just... not quite right. Not completely wrong, either, but the impression I got was that the author had to read up on some of these topics himself (after all, who wouldn't, on such a scope) and presented them to the reader without himself having more than a superficial grasp of the concepts involved. Part two of the series features almost two minutes of footage shot from a plane flying by the ice wall. Almost two minutes of endless ice. The music choice was pretty appropriate, making the sight of the outer edge even more haunting than it already is. It is rather simple: Any crystal is a replication code, imagine Sodium Chloride, 1part Na+/1part Cl- and you have auto-replication and a crystal forming up into the macro-scale.Based on the amount of research covered in the videos, he may not be 'slipping' (although he should have mentioned the amount of falsification regarding this topic). Many articles in the 19th and 20th century mentioned finding giant skeletons but these are nowhere to be found today (as with all our ancient 'tech' relics). So to drive a point home, he used what was available (from pictures its hard to tell which is fake or not, especially in the old newspapers). How can "Israel" is named as a country when the author discussed abt ancient civilization ? "Israel" is created in 1940s. Author should use the name of the country/place recognized during that era. Episode 11 has thrown me for a loop. He thinks this world has become degraded by the introduction of carbon life forms and that the earth was once primarily silicone based. The so-called Devil's Tower in Wyoming was once a silicon tree, and shows many examples of other trunk forms around the world that we call unusual mountain shapes. I know that other people have already explored this idea.

Lloyd left Immersive Education in 2006 to spend time travelling around Europe with his wife and two children, both of whom were home-educated, before setting up What on Earth Publishing in 2010. [ citation needed]My feeling is that we do live on a prison planet at this stage of the human experiment. However, it's hard for me to believe that a small coterie of human know-it-alls are orchestrating the whole thing. IMHO, there's some other kind of influence going on that feels much more extensive than that. Whether off-planet or below the planet, or trans-dimensional, there's a spiritual battle going on for supremacy of this world, and there are immense powers at play.

Having successfully begun my work as a presenter of the message of spiritual awareness, I am now taking a pro-active approach to the task of spreading this significant information to others. This has resulted in What On Earth Is Happening, a penetrating analysis into the realm of human Consciousness. He talks about what petrification is and that it is silicone based. Silica sand is a byproduct of felled trees, like our sawdust in a carbon world. The earth was once mined extensively for its silicone which existed in life forms that we no longer see on earth. The earth was once a beautiful crystalline place with giant flora. Some culture came here and mined the shit out of our realm, laying it to waste. They used carbon to render silicone in a more pure form and must have set our realm on fire. Volcanoes are mineral tailings and are self-combusting. The mid-ocean trenches and stretch marks are the scrapes of mining operations.Lloyd gives talk at schools, literary festivals, universities, societies, museums, businesses and institutes on a variety of topics including cross-curricular integration, narrative journeys around each of his books as well as motivational lectures. He gave a TEDx conference lecture at Reading University in early 2015. [3] Family life and education [ edit ] The What on Earth? Wallbook Timeline of Sport (What on Earth Publishing, first edition 2012, second edition 2015) Lloyd attended Wellesley House School in Broadstairs followed by Charterhouse. He was awarded two scholarships: Lady Ward History Scholarship and an Exhibition Scholarship, which enabled him to take up his place at Peterhouse, Cambridge University, to study history. He graduated with a double first in 1990. Lloyd's Director of Studies at Cambridge University was Maurice Cowling who was also Michael Portillo’s mentor. His ideas are elegant, but there is a big problem: they have proved almost impossible to test. In 50 years there have only been a handful of experiments exploring Cairns-Smith's ideas.
