I did really like the sense of place Jewell created, I could picture the locations and it made me want to visit for myself. Still, she didn't regret her choice, and her two years of hard work were finally coming to a head. Her savings had finally grown large enough to buy her a new life, and not a moment too soon. People were starting to get suspicious because she hadn't grown a centimeter since arriving at Garreg Mach. Victor the squire would have to disappear very soon.

Returning to school was probably one of the stupidest things I could've ever done at the time.
