About this deal

Lasting power is very disappointing. Half an hour and it is gone. In that sense it is a classic violet fragrance ;-). It is more like a strong skin scent than a true Eau de Parfum. Opens like citrus fruits and shiny metal (yes it smells like metal) on me, and turns into fresh and sweet violets within a few seconds. Then it settles down to a warm spicy futuristic floral. I also get a little bit of powdery soap. Really nice. I have to say sillage is good for the limited spray I put on.... My usual more liberal spray would give a fab sillage me thinks. longevity was good 7 hours later and it was still very pronounced on my wrists.

As i said it smells nice but i'm not impressed enough to go buy it anytime soon but you should try it at least!I totally love this scent, one of the few perfumes where I've emptied bottles and rebought more than twice. I'm an "Aquarius" too!!! The juice is fairly ordinary the opening is fresh and green, not minty as such but with the combination of oakmoss giving more of a green feel. Then the amber and vanilla heart give this a different feel again especially compared with those top notes.

For the modern man, Ultraviolet Man is an essential addition to any fragrance collection. Its bold, masculine aroma will captivate the senses and make a lasting impression. Enjoy the mysterious depths of Ultraviolet Man and experience the power of its addictive scent. Performance is moderate-plus as is projection, longevity and sillage, possible lasting longer in winter. It is an Eau de Toilette (cologne) strength and is fairly potent this way. An EDP would be overpowering, so EDT suits this frag. Edit: Well it is for about one week I have this at home. The first sniff was like uaaaa :) Don´t know how to describe it, but I had a same feeling like I was on some carousel at carnival, smelling all stalls with sweets and exotic food. It was pulsing on me once violet, once some woody notes and all different notes (which I couldn´t identify). I had just euphoric mood and was very hapy of this buy.Paco Rabanne s-a nascut pe data de 18 februarie 1934 in inima Spaniei Basce, in San Sebastian. Paco Rabanne a avut prima prezentare de moda in 1966. Rabanne a fost primul care a creat rochii de unica folosinta din hartie. Ultraviolet opens strong, with an acetone note. Dries down very sweet with violet and vanilla juxtaposition. The sharpness & overall strength and simplicity of these two notes together distinguishes Ultraviolet from the other violet/vanilla compositions on the market that remind of baby powder or something from Guerlain. It’s not powdery or very floral. Simply put, this is as equivalent to a fluffy, ultra soft cashmere sweater as anything can get. I am REALLY falling in love with this scent. It's soft but sultry, super sexy violet concoction...powdery, peppery, spicy gorgeousness. I really am looking forward to wearing this in the Fall and Winter months, it is just so cosy, like an enormous furry super-sized fluffy blanket enveloping you with a spicy ultraviolet cloud.Very vintage and purple smelling...I feel like I am wrapped up in a luxurious extra large mink coat. If you told me this were a Pierre Bourdon job for Creed I wouldn't argue with you one bit. Has the same laundry ambergris opening as GIT, MI, and such, with a spearmint gum quality in the vein of Invictus (which, let's be honest, had kind of the same general vibe as MI going on). There's a lot more vetiver in this too than the votes would have you believe.

This can be use anytime and anywhere...But i see this shining more during the late spring and all of summer. This fragrance still keeps intricate to me. At the first half of the bottle (100ml) it was sweet, but not sweet like candy or fruit, a different kind of sweet i´ve never smell before, like a "mineral sweet" if I can discribe like this. And this is what I loved too much in this perfume, so different, so unique, soft, fresh, mineral, smells really like the colors of the pictures above. But the second half lost this scent and becomes less actrative. I bought a second flask with 50ml and sadlly can´t detect the first smell I loved then, now it smells like the second half of the 100ml bottle... I can´t understand why... I´m thinking in buy a new 100 ml flask and test again.

With excellent longevity and excellent projection, as is characteristic in all perfumes Paco Rabanne, I highly recommend this perfume to all the innovative men and little conservative. UV by Paco Rabanne, its sweet oriental with slight woody at drydown, i deduct mint note from begging till end , its not transferable to much .

I just brought a little his & her's 5ml set for Ultraviolet & I love it. The men's is striking and the womans is not what I had expected. Sillage is good at over an arms length and the longevity is also pretty good. I get a consistent 4-6 hours. This is a wonderful, truly understated and rarely worn perfume (hurray for individuality and wearing something special!) that I have been wearing since 2014 or so. Would never get tired of it, as it is unique, potent and really, really sexy. This title constantly falls on YSL -contemporary but now classic- Rive Gauche and as good as this scent is, it doesn't really scream "modern" neither in its concept nor in its execution... This Rabanne offering despite being mostly stripped down and reduced to the minimun elements to be recognized as a fougere (citruses, moss, amber), does the job and with the addition of vanilla and mint (quite subdued and not too herbal) creates a nice contrast keeping things interesting. The amber accord is also quite well done, not screechy or too loud, keeping things together and giving a nice base to the scent.
