At the end of the day Tension is just an extremely average game. There is nothing terribly wrong with the game but it also doesn’t really do anything original either. It is pretty much the most basic speed game that you could ever find. You can have some fun with the game but it is a game that hasn’t aged particularly well. The game is fine as a very basic speed game but there have been many better speed games created since Tension was released. Designers have found ways to improve on everything that Tension has to offer where I don’t know if it really pays to play what is now an inferior speed game. Tension is a naming game of classic proportions. The game includes loads of questions with 10 given answers to those questions. There may be more answers than are written in those 10 but only the 10 on the card count!So far, we’ve played it a couple of times, and it’s been a lot of fun. It’s longer than most of the games we play, but that means we can get really into it. Although I think N would like it a bit shorter. We could play it without the board, and just have a number of spaces to get to to win, rather than spiralling all round the board. How to play Tension board game
