The big question mark is for illustrative purposes only. The ball wasn't really there. Or that big. A new generation of fans are discovering the fun of trying to guess the exact location of a football missing from a real life photograph in the hope of winning huge prizes.

You can use Spot The Ball as a non fundraising 'just for fun' competition, selling the spaces and offering all the takings (or larger value prize) to the winner. Players can play the game on a computer, tablet or mobile phone and get the same quality of experience across all three. We have launched a 2020 version of the game because modern technology and online gaming gives the classic Spot the Ball format a new lease of life.Everyone playing will be shown a football photograph that does not contain a ball. You must use your skill and judgement to decide where you think the centre of the ball should be. Your chosen points will be recorded as (x,y) coordinates, stored in our database and saved in your account.

Spot The Ball Fundraising Competition Cards - Bar Activity

If you are organising a spot the ball scheme it is your responsibility to ensure you are compliant with the law. If in doubt, you should seek legal advice. If a panel of judges decide the position of the ball and players have to apply judgement, skill or knowledge to match their own decision of where the ball is with that of the panel, it is more likely to be a prize competition than a lottery. To win a car, motorbike, watch, holiday or cash, enter our Midweek Lifestyle or Easy Win competitions. Show your skill by simply answering a multiple-choice question correctly for your chance to win! If you are running a spot the ball scheme that is open to the public as a lottery you will need either a lottery operating licence or to register with your local licensing authority. Players choose one of the 30 spaces on the front of the card and write their name on it. Once all 30 spaces have been selected the organiser then breaks open all the spaces until an image of a football is revealed in one of them. The winner is the player who chose the box with the ball.Below we have a couple of commonly asked questions about our Dream Car competition. Have a read! Why don't you use the original ball position to judge the winner? Balls Out have produced a 21st century version of the classic Spot The Ball competition which has already gained a cult following online
