In my opinion, it is not required or recommended to look outside the Rega product range to find perfect phono preamps for the Rega turntables.I'd just like to point out for posterity that the case is actually made of aluminum, and the front looks foggy /cheap because the protective plastic covering is still on the polished and shiny nameplate.
