If your patio is in a very shaded and damp garden, I suggest you reapply Patio Magic once a year. If it’s in a sunny spot, apply between once a year and once every two years. Patio Magic kills and controls green mould and algae and is a dynamic algaecidal detergent which works without the need for manual scrubbing or pressure-washingI would only consider a more aggressive approach if I were in a hurry to clean the surface, perhaps I had visitors, or I was selling the house and wanted to spruce up the garden for potential buyers etc. All you have to do is dilute (in a watering can or low-pressure garden sprayer), apply thoroughly on the affected surface and walk away with no need for scrubbing, pressure washing or any hard work! This will treat up to 170m2, removing and preventing that nasty green mould and can even be used as a pre-paint fungicidal wash. Put it another way; Patio Magic will kill whatever is growing on your patio and ruining its appearance, but based on the results of my testing, it won’t remove it.

The video below was published by Dirty Drive-Away and contains everything you need to know about this product. Another option is to use a stiff broom and washing up liquid as this acts as a degreaser, removing pollution from the surface.

Antibacterial - This patio cleaner does the job effortlessly with no need for any bleach or acids which is great for if you have children or pets. Treat with a weed killer and/or a moss killer product (make sure they are allowed to dry before re-applying), ensuring the products soak into the patio and any gaps between the slabs. Children: Patio Magic! is non-acidic and contains no bleach. But, as with any household cleaner, please take normal precautions and keep our products out of reach of children.I’m not exaggerating when I claim that you can quite literally watch the organic matter dissolve off your patio.
