About this deal

Although I’ve had no issues with the headband, many users have complained that the padding on the headband is not enough. They claim that the hard plastic (at the top) manages to get through the air bubble and silicone sheath. (Mostly because there’s not enough padding.)

The W820NB (review here) and Focus A10 headphones have a lot in common when it comes to their features and sound signature. However, the A10’s build quality feels more premium, thanks to its rotating earcups and a compact folding design that makes it easier to store and transport. These features make the A10 an excellent option for those who value portability and convenience. But if you’re a regular traveler and you need strong ANC, or you’re an audiophile looking for pristine detail and brightness, you might want to look elsewhere. If you’re in a coffee shop, if there are lots of people, the headphones won’t be able to cancel the nearby voices, but it can do a good job for those farther from you. So, overall, it’s kind of similar to the Tronsmart Apollo. Obviously, there is no hissing sound, but I do blame a slight pressure which may annoy some people that are more sensitive. Sound Quality

These are in no way an “audiophile” or “critical listening” pair, but then most noise-canceling pairs aren’t chasing that kind of listener. In conclusion, the OneOdio Focus A10 wireless headphones offer a balanced sound signature with a warm and engaging midrange, controlled sub-bass, and relaxed treble. The headphones have a premium build quality, which includes rotating earcups and a compact folding design for easy storage and transportation. When it comes to audio quality, the Edifier has a little more definition and control in the bass, while the A10 comes across as slightly warmer in tone. Nonetheless, both headphones offer similar audio quality and technical performance. Therefore, the choice between the two ultimately comes down to personal preference. When OneOdio first reached out and asked me if I’d like to review their new budget-priced noise-canceling headphones, I was nervous. Just like the original version, the OneOdio A10 uses 40mm drivers with 32 Ohm (+/-15%) impedance, so you don’t need a dedicated amplifier to push these headphones to the maximum potential. Your phone and laptop will be more than enough. And that was obvious from the start considering that the main way to connect the OneOdio A10 is via Bluetooth. There is support for Bluetooth 5.0 which is fine since the newer version don’t really bring anything in terms of coverage. What codec is supported on OneOdio A10. I first used these wirelessly with my phone, without the noise-canceling turned on. They were a little too boomy and dark for my tastes, even as “consumer” headphones go. Think “thumping dance club.”

Sarah has an Associate of Arts from Collin College and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Creative Writing concentration from Nicholls State University. Ergonomic Design with Comfort: With earpads equipped with true protein memory foam, A10 is flexible over-ear headphones that can be naturally adjusted to fit any sized head. In conclusion, the OneOdio Focus A10 wireless headphones offer a modern design, sturdy build quality, and comfortable earpads. With the added convenience of foldable earcups and a rotating design, these headphones are an excellent choice for those who value both style and functionality. Battery Life Clamping force is slightly strong, which makes sense as you don’t want wireless headphones to fall off of your head. The A10 enhances the video watching experience. I was pleased to discover that there were no sync issues between video and audio while enjoying YouTube videos or movies on my phone. Furthermore, the A10 delivers excellent gaming performance with minimal latency, even when playing fast-paced online games. Sound After enabling ANC on the OneOdio A10, I could immediately tell that it is better than on the A30 and it’s very similar to the Apollo. The passive sealing does have an important role, but you can tell that the world gets more silent after enabling the ANC On mode. One of the main reasons why ANC was developed was to limit the impact of engine noise on aircraft pilots and then it became a standard for people that travel long hours by plane. So, can the OneOdio A10 negate the droning noise? Additionally, the A10 comes with a handy carrying case that provides extra protection during transit. These features, combined with their reasonable price point, make the OneOdio Focus A10 wireless headphones an excellent choice for those who value both sound quality and convenience. Also, you have an ANC button that always goes into a passive mode (off) whenever coming from ANC or transparency mode; hence, you cannot switch between these two extremes with a single button press; you require two. While the W820NB supports the Edifier mobile app, the app doesn’t add much to the overall user experience, apart from displaying the battery level. On the other hand, the OneOdio A10 comes with a handy storage case that is not provided with the W820NB. The case helps protect the headphones during storage and transportation, making it a useful accessory for those who are always on the go.
