It was my senior year in high school when one of my best friends gave me the landmark Kevyn Aucoin makeup book, “Making Faces” as a gift.Making Faces book includes 200 (!!!) color photos and sketches, mostly drawn by Kevyn, to illustrate how to apply makeup. It’s an excellent choice for people with a passion for the industry and/or people with intermediate to advanced makeup skills. Reyna has created a series of makeup chart books, but this is the only other one I will mention here (they’re all good, though). Plus, special bonus: the book is spiral bound.
