This was actually better, though the faults from the predecessor book remain. She shows more humility, and the advice is more sound. I do think she writes at her best, when she is looking into the bones of her company, and finding what values make her brand unique. I don't like when she is trying to pull life lessons from stupid anecdotes, like parties she attended or PR events. Durch eine Formel möchte die Autorin uns eine Methode ans Herz legen. Diese besagt: Gedanken + Gefühle + Handeln + Vertrauen = erfolgreiche Manifestion. An sich ist diese Formel auch umsetzbar, aber eben nichts was man nicht schon selbst wusste. Teilweise waren die Herleitungen wirr und haben sich wiederholt, was mich gestört hat. Genauso war der Schreibstil der Autorin für mich sehr schwer zu lesen und dadurch wurde das ganze etwas zäh. Für mich persönlich kam hier mehr das Gefühl auf unbedingt etwas "verkaufen" zu wollen, als wirklich dem Leser das Gefühl einer Hilfestellung zu bieten.Das sind jetzt nur 2 spontane Beispiele ( die mir im Gedächtnis hängen geblieben sind ) für einige weitere Widersprüche die mit beim lesen aufgefallen sind. It wasn't a complete waste ,but it wasn't the best yk? If you wanna read I say go for it , they were still good points there and stuff i learned . What a book! I’ve literally not been able to put this one down this afternoon… I love a good self-help book and I’ve not read one in a while. I got this weeks ago in a charity shop so I didn’t know if it was going to be any good but I really liked it. Some parts were quite spiritual mentioning crystals, tarots and the lunar cycle but that was only in the last two chapters so don’t let that distract you if your not into that it’s still a great self help book. From my own experience as a restauranteur and from talking with people in live presentations, on social media, or with my one-on-one coaching clients, I’ve clearly seen the patterns that lead to more money, more freedom, and more joy in the restaurant business. Den Aufbau des Buches fand ich sehr ansprechend. Es war gut zu lesen, die Übungen zwischendurch sind auf jeden Fall interessant, auch wenn ich die meisten bisher nicht gemacht habe, da ich erst mal nur lesen wollte. But I’ve also clearly seen the patterns that lead to high levels of stress, struggle and overwhelm. THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION…so I got help. And because of the help I got and the changes I was able to make, I decided I wanted to do the same for others. So since 2012, I have been helping owners all over the world get answers to the same questions you have. I thought this was brilliant. Perfectly structured and immensely resonant, relevant and real. I've read a fair few books on manifestation, law of attraction and similar, and found many range from wishy washy to plain weird and scary. The style of writing of this one appeals and it really does get you thinking. I found lots to relate to.
