About this deal

Sorry if this post is a tad old....I bought both and returned 2 sets of the AudioEngine A2+ for a HISS that drove me bonkers. Computer on mute they hissed, playing a file with no audio they hissed, hell....unplugged from USB they had a hiss! Two sets did that. Got the Kantu YU2 and they are dead silent when they are supposed to be. Used the AudioEngine stands and they look great on my desk. Sub-out to a DefTech and it sounds amazing. They aren’t as complicated as some other speaker sets. You can simply plug and play and as there are no wireless or Bluetooth connections, you don’t need to worry about hooking them up digitally.

The second, labelled Score, starts with the first one and adds the score as an optimization variable. These speakers are quite heavy even with their small size but this helps with their solid build and overall durability. These speakers are limited a bit by their overall functionality. They only come in one color and compared to the other speakers we’ve looked at here, they do look a bit plain looking. You won’t get the sophisticated walnut of the YU2’s or the elegance of the A2+, but I suppose you get what you pay for. They do come in a good bit cheaper than the YU2’s and A2+ so for the budget conscious they are a very good alternative.

The speaker's purpose is to provide you balanced sounds with a bit of emphasis on the high tones. So, adding a subwoofer will help you get your desired bass boost. You can do that easily as well. What sets this apart from the competitors? Kanto YU2 is equipped with a Class D amplifier, whereas the Audioengine A2+ features a dual class-AB monolithic amplifier This is fairly good and you’ll find speakers out there that don’t offer 2 years. Even though you will find some that perhaps have a longer warranty, so a set of desktop speakers for your computer, 2 years is generally fine. How do the Kanto YU2 speakers perform?Kanto YU4 comes with a good range of features for its customers. Here are some of the pros and cons that one should consider while choosing these speakers.

One of the critical features of Kanto speakers is their striking and stylish designs. The same goes for this series, and it will be hard for you to find a better design with all the other features in the marketplace. Their designs are the most beautiful blend of high quality and modern look. You will love to have them on your shelf or desktop. The EQs are designed in the context of regular stereo use i.e. domestic environment, no warranty is provided for a near field use in a studio environment although the LW might be better suited for this purpose. S2 desktop speaker stands (available separately) offer 16 degrees of tilt and improved sound isolation to ensure you experience the full range of frequencies your speakers have to offer. Flexible Connectivity The connections on offer can be looked at as both a positive and a negative. On the one hand, the limited amount makes these speakers very easy to use and on the other it can limit your options (see below). However, we do think that a simple plug and play connection makes these speakers very user friendly. Warranty You could throw the same accusation at Ruark, but that wouldn't entirely be fair. IMO, Ruark use that as a starting point rather than offering it as a finished product. All the little refinements and tweaks add up to an audibly-superior product, and that's because of the company's foundation in high-end domestic and professional audio. The A2+ speakers are an upgraded version of the brand’s A2 model that was among the first desktop speakers the company released. Although they are often advertised as bookshelf speakers, the A2+ perform best when utilized as computer speakers. These speakers have been designed by keeping versatility in mind. These speakers can be used in multiple scenarios, such as watching dramas, listening to music, or playing a video game. They perform well in every set-up with numerous connectivity options. Connection Kanto YU2 speakers have a 50 W peak per channel, whereas Audioengine A2+ has the 30W peak per channel
