Beware some of these are not uplifting but each of these poems is meant to make the reader feel. I was just amazed with this collection and raced through because I felt like I was right there with him. I have had my dark times too. A necessary read! However, despite the sadness, the book also manages to be hopeful and inspiring. Like all Abnormalities, its energy output is determined by the number of PE Boxes (Positive Enkephalin boxes) at the end of the interaction. Just like previous volumes, the words are so relatable. I find myself feeling so seen and heard and so not alone!

information, slows down reviewers and exacerbates merge conflicts. 4.7 Grouping parentheses: recommended His poems are really amazing, self empowering, emphasizing, mysterious. He asks to enjoy the present moments, the feels, the sensations, the smells, the sounds and the tastes. He makes us understand the importance of living in the moment. I...didn't like this poetry book. It has certain points of views that I didn't agree with and very little on things that I do agree. The author mixed a hint of religion and spirituality in poems, which was a new way of "reaching" out to peopel through verses and stanzas. But there are just certain things that doesn't go well together. Life experience does make a good poetry content but kind of showcasing that negativity is sometimes a good thing to have in life. Almost speechless. Absolutely adored this book. Some passages touched me so deeply I had to re-read immediately....and I know I will be reading this book many many times. Just so relevant in so many aspects of my life and the way my mind works. It truly helped me view situations in a different way and most importantly encouraged me to be kinder to myself. It genuinely touched me on a soulful level. Sometimes I have so much to say I literally don't know where to start, and this is one of them.... You feel the heartache that is poetically portrayed. The intensity of each line is incredible. It shakes your core. It shatters your heart, but it rebuilds it with a refreshing perspective. I cried every day that I read this book and it's just what I needed. The author beautifully expressed feelings that I knew I had, but couldn't get out or didn't have the right combination of words to.The phrase “cry the tears you were never allowed to cry” resonated with me. Here I was thinking I was the only one not allowed to cry. We all have our different interpretations of this phrase i’m sure, but how did Foster know. It’s like he knows ME! This book has taught me new things, and reminded me of things I already knew, but forgot. The author reminds us too of taking the time to slow down, to allow ourselves to feel both the joys, and the sorrows, and of the importance of having the courage of standing alone. Beauty and the Beast is so appalled by its grotesque appearance, it repeatedly tries to kill itself."

I am not sure if this collection of poems had done as much good during the time I truly was going through depression, but they might have. They did now. My open journal on how I found growth through heart break, burdens, and self-love. I Was Never Broken by Sara Sheehan – eBook Details Read this book at the right moment. It felt so personal and so relatable. The emotions and thought that was put into the writing is indescribable. As stated from the get go: prepare for an emotional roller coaster. Glad for that heads up- I was in tears , smiling, and feeling emotions that I have inside of me due to personal circumstances. Reading this book is like having a long conversation with a dear and trusted friend where no matter what you say or express or feel, you are loved and accepted. Yes, it's exactly like that! Kia also appears twice in the 10 least reliable cars, although it is important to note that these vehicles may be older than others models in the list due to the fact that every Kia in the UK is sold with a seven-year warranty as standard. I think a lot about my hands. For me it’s an image that’s very specific. We used to cut the hay-fields. There was a lot of hay, and we’d be on the tractor for weeks in a row every day, running around in circles. And I would just stare at my hands. I used to write a lot of poetry about hands. Since I was pretty young, I wondered, ‘What will my hands be doing? Will they hold kids?” I had no idea they’d play guitar. I started to believe that if I watch what my hands do, I’d have a better idea of what I was thinking, consciously or subconsciously. This book truly spoke to me. It established a connection with the reader from the very beginning. I felt as if Foster was speaking directly to me, and it was so relaxing and helpful that sometimes the tone of the book turned into the voice of my psychologist (whom I am a huge fan of) so this was a welcomed surprise.

If you are looking for a good book, of Mediative Poetry, one that will remind you of the importance of taking a moment just to breathe, I highly recommend You Were Never Broken. This poetry book was about knowing your worth and how even though you are broken, you are still a powerful human being that is still currently living in a world full of hatred and narcisim. One of the most powerful aspects of "I Was Never Broken Vol 3" is how relatable it is. The emotions that the author describes are universal. You'll find yourself nodding along in recognition and feeling like you're not alone in your struggles. The book is a reminder that everyone has their own battles to fight, but that there is always hope for a better tomorrow. Thanks to Netgalley, Jeff Foster and publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Jeff Foster’s new book, You Were Never Broken - Poems to Save Your Life is an intimate collection which draws on the author’s own experiences of feeling anxious, restless, and even suicidal to share insight and hope with readers.

Seriously, if you're grieving the loss of a relationship. Whether you were the one to walk away, or the one left behind. Read this. It will give you a brand new perspective of self-love; of how to love and be loved. The rumor claimed that all who entered the castle died, suggesting that something in Beauty and the Beast compels people who enter its presence to kill it, but the more likely reason is overwhelming greed to inherit the fortune, like in Beauty's story.

The lady was hired and worked at the manor. Contrary to the rumor, the monster was nowhere to be seen. Sometimes at night, she could hear a voice. It was very kind and compensated her for her troubles handsomely." In summary, with a very intelligent and healing tone, this book, Jeff Foster, delivers an exceptional break from reality for those who need it most. As a mediation rookie (and skeptic) this opened my eyes to what I have been missing out on… “True meditation just means being awake and alive to this precious moment” You Were Never Broken is the best poetry collection I’ve read this year, and whether or you have the same struggles as Foster or are an avid poetry reader, I’m sure there is something within the touching poems that will speak to you. I really enjoyed reading this, I flew through it. It was nice to read a few things that put my feelings into words, although not all of it was relative, it was interesting to see new perspective.
