About this deal

The Hyper 212 cooling device is more of a budget option considering its specifications, while the NH-D15 offers more. LGA1200, LGA2066, LGA2011-V3, LGA2011, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, LGA775, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1 I would have liked to seen either the 212 evo or 212+ to see if it has any benefit over the originals. After all we are seeing differences in those two 212 versions. I really dont care much about the color, leds, and ect but if it preforms better then let use see. LGA2066, LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA1200, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, LGA1150, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1 On close observation, the NH-D15 has two more heat pipes than its rival here and more cooling fin surface area. Also, the NH-D15 has more thermal mass than the Evo 212. This Noctua has better heat removal capacity, which is what you want from a cooling device.

At 1500 RPM, the rotational speed is excellent for any cooler, and this one doesn’t disappoint. There are twin highly-optimized NF-A15 140 mm fans with PWM support. They also have low-noise adaptors for automatic speed control and ultra-quiet operations. A fan splitter isn’t part of this device, even if the Evo 212 allows for a simple connection to a second fan. If you want to add to the setup, you’ll need to get more fan headers. What’s more, there’s no RGB LED on this device but a primary cooling system. It was made to provide a balance between high and low-speed operations. Our Flir One Pro thermal imaging camera shows some noticeable differences in heat soak throughout the cooling tower itself between 50% and 100%, which is to be expected. There is also a slightly lower thermal signature in the adjacent regions at full speed, which indicates the added benefit of improved airflow. LGA2066, LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1366, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1 A compact size RGB LED controller that allows you to easily customize your RGB devices without the need for either an RGB capable motherboard or software.

What's more likely is that the temps in your system aren't being reported correctly and you're shortening the lifespan of your hardware.

LGA2066, LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA775, AM4, AM3+, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1 Our Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo review reveals a cooler built to provide a significant draw for many enthusiasts and system builders. There’s no need for another cooler when you get features designed to produce quality cooling and a firm factor to match. It boils down to this. You need to dissipate around 200W of heat if you're running at 4.6 Ghz and your cooler has a TDP of 150W. You'll never get full performance out of a 9900k with your Hyper 212 EVO.

Due to mechanical limitations, AM4 upgrade kit is only supported by the Hyper 212 LED AM4 compatible version. Johnpombrio said:OK Phazz, here is the result using Prime. the temps are actually lower. What test do you WANT me to run?LGA2066, LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA1200, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, LGA775, LGA1150, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, FM2+, FM2, FM1 Several features and capabilities come into play when you need to choose between Noctua or Cooler Master cooling devices. Our comparison and review of the two shows they perform well to keep temperatures down and systems running efficiently. Further, the two NF-A5 140 mm fans contribute to cooler performances and are optimized highly to serve you with effective speed control.
