To everyone that has been participating in the comments, and sharing your thoughts, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know and hear from so many of you, and it’s always a massive pleasure reading about what you and your family has thought about the calendars! Nothing too exciting or Yule Ball-related, but as we’re approaching Christmas, it feels suitably festive! Merry Christmas and I can’t wait to say goodbye to 2020 and ring in the New Year! I hope to see you this time next year for the 2021 LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar if they’re making one again!

And that’s it for Day 11 so far! Looking at the plot progression, and the silhouette of Day 12’s build… it’s probably a no-brainer that we’ll get for Day 12!

On Day 8 of the Harry Potter Advent Calendar, we get the golden egg that Harry courageously snagged from the Hungarian Horntail in the Triwizard Tournament!

We get a Table with a glass bottle on it. I’m not 100% sure if this is referenced anywhere in the movies, and gave up after spending too much time on Youtube rewatching Goblet of Fire clips. Thanks Jay for your blog. This was my first Lego advent calendar and I’m so glad I had your insights into the builds and interesting facts. I really enjoyed the calendar but with it being my first one had no expectations or comparisons. Good to avoid spoilers too It’s exceedingly festive and grand this year, with the Great Hall decorated in icicles, and a massive trio of Christmas trees. Maybe this signals that we’ll eventually get a Leaky Cauldron building that can be used to expand 75978 Diagon Alley, as I can absolutely see this sign being repurposed again.Disappointment turned to delight as this aspiring interior designer gave her home a hotel-luxe makeover Day eleven produced a fireplace which includes two clips. One was occupied yesterday and I am expecting another model that connects with the fireplace today. Fans of the Goblet of Fire/Year 4 are going to be delighted that we have more Book/Movie 4 references, and I love how it’s all coming together. Diverse minifigures are a bit of a rarity with LEGO, so it’s great that we have a relatively accessible way for fans to get their hands on Padma, who makes her debut in LEGO Harry Potter and is exclusive to the 2020 Harry Potter Advent Calendar.
