About this deal
Please never flush any type of period care down the toilet regardless of biodegradability unless stated otherwise - It can wreak havoc on the water systems and wildlife. đ super comfortable but still snug so i felt confident they wouldnât leak, they didnât disappoint! iâve been using them to sleep in as i have a particularly heavy flow and i normally have to wake up through the night at least once to change my pad so i donât leak through, but iâve been comfortably sleeping in these the whole night (around 10 hours) with no leaks at all. also happy to find theyâre easier to clean than i thought theyâd be

What a life changing decision. I can honestly say they are so comfy and I forgot I even had my period. I wore these on my heaviest day for 8 hours and there was no leak at all. Iâll be buying more! We know that everyone's body is different, so our subscription is designed to help you choose the best option for your FLO. đ Absolutely love these period pants! I was dubious as Iâve never used them before. They are incredibly comfortable, great coverage for any leaks, and I love the design. The material is really soft also. Really impressed and Iâm annoyed I didnât get them sooner! Gone are the noisy and uncomfortable plastic wings, replaced with soft organic cotton or even reusable bamboo options. And considering the average menstrual pad is made from 90% plastic, and can take thousands of years to decompose, itâs about time too.The tampon wrappers are 100% recyclable (to be replaced by compostable, plant-based wrappers in Summer 2021). Our FLO period pads and liners are wrapped in 100% plant-based, plastic-free & compostable wrappers.

Super soft and comfy, donât slide down, no leaks or awkward VLP in leggings AND good for the environment too; no need for tampons/pads again! FLO period pads are 99% biodegradable, however, due to the existing debates about compostability in the period care industry, we recommend you dispose of them in the general waste bin, where they will biodegrade naturally in a few years. That's much less than conventional pads, whose biodegradation takes over 100 years! Not only are these guys veggie and vegan friendly, they're also free of bleach, plastic and chemicals. Great for the planet, and your vulva's needs. Our bamboo is organic & edge-grown meaning it doesnât replace food crops & certified by Oeko-Tex (it's tested for nasty chemical residues). OEKO-Tex Bamboo means that the fabrics are organic and have been tested by independent labs to make sure that they are free from harmful substances - no nasties here!

We found they didnât cause any irritation and we didnât notice them while wearing, whether that be running errands throughout the day or toss and turning through the night. You just tell us how often you want them, and we'll send the postie round to pop them in your slot! At Here We Flo we donate product each month to those in need + 5% of our profits go to people + planet...but that's not all! However, there are still no official compostability guidelines for menstrual products, as experts themselves are conflicted due to the 'medical waste' nature of used period care products. So we recommend you dispose of them in the general waste bin, and they will naturally biodegrade in landfill in a few years. How wonderful is that?
Sizing is completely off. Iâm normally a UK size 12/14, they recommend sizing up so I went for the large (apparently a UK size 16/18). Looking at the label apparently they are a UK size 16/18, a US size 8 (which is a UK 12) and a EU size 40 (also a UK 12). A size 12 seems about right and they are a little on the snug side, which I wasnât expecting given I went large and isnât what I wanted from the product. Like a tampon, in the ocean menstrual pads often act like a sponge, but instead of absorbing blood, they absorb harmful chemicals that can be toxic to the oceanâs fragile ecosystem. Sanitary pads might seem a bit retro and remind you of our first period, but theyâve recently had an eco revamp to make them â dare we say â cool, and a great option for making your menstrual cycle as green as you can.
