It should definitely have been included with every character. That part of Brianna's project set was so much fun, and I would have loved to share that kind of intro sewing lesson with a child. And you're so right about the ways in which that simple activity could be expanded to meet a child's creativity or ambition. It's the kind of thing that could jump-start an interest in sewing or fashion.
