I really enjoy writing verse, even though it can be fiendishly difficult. I used to memorise poems as a child and it means a lot to me when parents tell me their child can recite one of my books. The illustrations are stunning, and the flaps and holes in the pictures that reveal the next creative make the story so much more exciting. Starbird is an original fable about freedom and love. This unique book shimmers with shiny silver foil.The fine art prints can be mounted (an A3 picture in an A2 mount, an A2 picture in an A1 mount) and delivered to you for framing. I love that it’s an alphabet book connected to animals! My only wish would be that it the story had been a little simpler, and not tried to connect each animal to the next. Some of the connections were a little tenuous and the book didn’t need them anyway in my opinion!
