We have tried quite a few cleaners now, and read angry orange was #1… so we bought it to try. Upon opening it, it has a pleasant orange-y aroma. You can smell it a little once sprayed, but it doesn’t last long. The pet spots we were trying to clean didn’t smell any better… in fact… they smelled worse once the hit of orange went away. (Which didn’t take long). We used half a gallon (over the course of a month) to see if maybe our results would change… but nothing. To remove pet urine odor from a carpet, it’s best to use an enzymatic cleaner. This type of cleaner will help to break up and neutralize odors. For best results, soak up as much of the urine as possible using paper towels. Then, spray the enzymatic cleaner on the carpet and let it soak (follow the manufacturer instructions for timing).
