I think this book would be useful to many women even those who don't have adhd since it focuses a lot on gender role based social pressures. My impression is that it's a well structured workbook with good exercises for self reflection. The chapter summaries are brilliant for an ADHD audience. The stories help emotional connection. They do mention intersections identities, but don't go in depth with with different experiences or how they interact with the phenomenon discussed. I didn’t really decide to learn about my disability until about a year ago, when my therapist recommended reading materials for my ADHD and I stumbled across this book via Audible. I realized that, by learning more about my ADHD, I am finally putting MYSELF in control.
