Randy Havens as Mr. Clarke: Mr. Clarke is a teacher at Hawkins Middle School and he runs the AV Club. Havens was last seen in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler: Mike is the leader of the young group and Eleven's love interest. Wolfhard was previously seen in 2017's IT and Netflix's Carmen Sandiego. But apparently, Finn Wolfhard took one guess at what the spinoff series was about and got it right. "Finn Wolfhard, he wasn't spitballing, he just went, 'I think this would be a cool spin-off,'" Ross shared with Variety. "And we were like, 'How in the world…?'" The reason we haven't done anything is just because you don't want to be doing it for the wrong reasons, and it was just like, 'Is this something I would want to make regardless of it being related to Stranger Things or not?' And definitely,” said Matt. "Even if we took the Stranger Things title off of it, I'm so, so excited about it. Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman: Murray is a local conspiracy theorist who also happens to be fluent in Russian, making him an asset in Hopper and Joyce's investigation. Gelman was previously seen in Fleabag and Camping. Rob Morgan as Officer Powell: Morgan plays police officer Powell, Hopper's co-worker. He was last seen in Mudbound.
Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair: Lucas is part of the young gang and a love interest to Max. McLaughlin was previously seen in Steven Soderbergh's High Flying Bird. The plan was that Scoop Troop would drive to Dustin’s radio tower where the walkie talkie signal was strong enough for Dustin and Erica to provide guidance to Murray, Joyce and Hopper as they infiltrated the underground Russian base. Meanwhile, Griswold Family would head to safety.Given the danger that the gates pose to Hawkins and the rest of the world, the military may declare martial law and potentially quarantine Hawkins. We can expect a robust military presence, especially if Demogorgons and other monstrosities begin to surf from the gates.
