About this deal

I evaluated on contruction, pricing and feature set, ended up choosing this controller. I would really like to get this company or Adappto to use a power stage setup I've designed so I can start selling high power controllers. I have the gate drive/power stage figured out, but don't have my own controller brain and don't desire to design my own at this point. I'll only talk about the 72200 vs the 12401, since the 72150 is pretty much the same as the 72200, only with less power. Our products have won national invention patents and international certificates, and we are recognized in terms of quality and reputation.

System status and fault intelligent management system can effectively monitor the current system operating mode external input state ,the case of system failure, and the LED flashes at the same time to facilitate the diagnosis and maintenance.

Setup - The hall sensor setup had an automatic learning feature which made getting the hall phase combination a very easy process, took about 1 min to learn after I figured out the correct sequence in the software I needed to get it to learn the combination. It came with instructions, but they need to be clarified a bit. The motor torque ripple will be reduced to the minimum, so as toensure electric vehicle to run without any noise and vibration, smoothly, andcomfortably. It takes only 3 minutes for the motor to be well matched on its bestelectronic angle at the first time. Field weakening. I believe it's settable from 0-100A. I need to do some more testing on how much it effects my top speed but I think I saw 53mph with it set to 50A, but I can't remember for sure so I'll have to go test again after I recharge the battery. Nice thing with field weakening is that it only decreases the efficiency when it's in use, which is usually only when you make those short high speed sprints, not at normal cruising speed. Kelly: the start up is quite rough from 0-5km/h, lots of vibrations, lots of horrible noise like the thing is gonna explode. This is normal on square wave controllers, but not really nice. The start up torque is good, given the weight of my machine. Once passed 5kmh, and until about 30km/h, the motor sound is really fun and nice, sounds almost like a Formula one engine. There is plenty of torque and it doesn't take much time to reach 30. Passed that speed, the sound becomes less audible and the torque seems to decrease, or at least to reach a flat curve, until you reach the top speed, which on my machine was 97km/h. On deceleration, the slide regen was not noticeable since it can only be set up to a very low value. I don't use the regenerative breaking so I cannot say if this works fine, but I saw in the software that it can be set to 50% of controller max power, which is not actually very high too.

Amberwolf, some of those are good reasons, but they don't really apply to what this controller is designed for, medium power hub motors. The precise current ring can provide accurate torque input to meetthe requirement 0f large torque output during vehicle starting and climbing. is a electric bike, electric bicycle, electric scooter, electric motorcycle grade sine-wave motor controller, high efficiency, less noise and lower energy consumption, which makes your electric bike or electric motorcycle more comfortable and easier to control. I’ve been through 3 tft displays. I’m also using a Sabvoton controller. I find that they die when the battery voltage is cut while riding, i.e BMS low voltage cell protection, CB accidentally switched off, negative cable unplugged. I’ve tried repairing; found that Q1 and Q4 were dead plus a diode. Both transistors are rated for 100V. Must be more failed components than this as display is not fixed yet. I never tried the KLS series so far, so I cannot say if they are good or not. My review is very subjective and obviously biaised since both controllers are quite different, but it is just my own experience, I'm actually genuinely interested to read any comparison between a KLS and a sabvoton, if anyone tried both.MQCON(Sabvoton)is a high-tech enterprise specializing in researching, developing, manufacturing and marketing the motor controller, here are some other types maybe workable for you. In terms of driving feeling, the Sabvoton is far superior because much smoother and has a very nice throttle feeling, without any lag. System status and fault intelligent management system caneffectively monitor the current system operating mode external input state ,thecase of system failure, and the LED flashes at the same time to facilitate thediagnosis and maintenance. You have to understand here that those two controllers have a very different technology. Square wave for the Kelly and Sinewave for the sabvoton. Kelly is also doing square wave controllers, but I never have the opportunity to own one so far. In my opinion, the only issue with the sabvoton is heat dissipation. At least for the new design. The old design doesn't heat nearly as much.
