About this deal

I've really enjoyed using Oregon. It's a very very effective sprayer works very well. But, you need to make sure that you taken everything up before you use it, because I've got absolutely covered in weed killers, which is not a good thing. The pump action is quite easy to use, and the sprayer is able to maintain a high-pressure right to the dregs of the liquid. You can easily cover a severely overgrown 200 sq. meter garden within an hour, with a single refill. Moreover, it is one of the few sprayers that is equipped with a safety valve. It can deal with difficult tasks that require sprinkling different garden chemicals including pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and composts. The adjustable spray nozzle even allows you to change between fine-to-stream splashing modes. This will depend on your model and how much you pump it. For a range, these sprayers can generally maintain a stream of at least 10 feet and at most 35. Conclusion Diaphragm pumps are more durable to use when compared to their piston counterparts. While they’re not known to produce too much pressure, these pumps use a diaphragm pump system that is normally found inside the sprayer’s tank. Diaphragm sprayers are not only efficient but are also constructed using durable materials that can not only withstand harsher chemicals and direct UV light. Piston Sprayer Diaphragm pumps use the same principle of using pressure to dispense the liquid. The most notable difference between the two is that the diaphragm can withstand harsh chemicals. The other difference between them is that, the diaphragm is costlier and that it can pass smaller abrasive particles through its system.

The sprayer requires constant pumping to keep up the pressure plus the straps can sometimes unhook.

They’re used to spray liquid in a concentrated line. They’re ideal for applying liquid fertiliser to the soil. Cone Nozzles Today, the Oregon brand continues to be an industry leader in more than a hundred countries around the world. With over sixty years of experience in the business and a continuing dedication to safety, ease of use and innovation, the company is now well known across the globe for the reliability and quality of its products. As such, it’s fair to say that the Oregon Co. has come a long way since its beginning with a man out in the woods watching a bug chew wood.

The downside of pump sprayers is pretty obvious: You have to put in a little more elbow grease to get rid of those weeds or pests in your yard or garden. While better for the environment than gas, battery-powered sprayers use electricity from your house, and that energy often comes from a coal-burning power plant.

Oregon 518769 16 Litre Backpack Sprayer

It features a screw connected hose and that means there are no clamps needed for the hose connection. The fibreglass lance measures 3.2m, which is ideal for high spraying, it has an extension of 0.5m for horizontal and vertical applications, and up to 1.5m extensions for high work. This type of nozzle sprays out liquid in a circular pattern. The width of these nozzles is also adjustable. Cone nozzles are ideal for applying herbicides to patches of weeds. Or, they can be used to cover a bed of vegetable insect repellants. Flat nozzle I don't feel like i quite have that problem with the straps, it sits a lot better, so this is a little bit more of a core workout to stay comfortable. There are also higher-capacity (up to 98L) weed sprayers powered by a 12V battery or connected via a 12V supply on the vehicle.
