About this deal

As for the performance, there is a slight latency when turned completely wet. Also, the pitches didn't sound to me like pure octaves: they where distinctly detuned octaves. There is also a noticeable drop in sound volume. I was mostly surprised by the detuning because I'd listened to a few demos on YouTube and there it sounded much better. My fat-fingered friend Stephan was of the opinion that how this pedal performed was par for the octaver-pedal-course, so it is possible that my criticism is unjustifiably based on unrealistic expectations. If you want a snarling fuzz beast that adds another dimension to your riff with the Octave Up is engaged, look no further than the JOYO JF-12 Vodoo Octave Fuzz. This is a versatile pedal that was made for those that prefer a more vintage sound but that can be used in modern settings as well. Features The Donner Digital Octave guitar pedal is a solid and compact unit for those looking for a good budget option. It is one of the smallest guitar pedals in this list but offers flexibility and many features, making it an ideal candidate for those with tight pedalboards. Features

With the TC Electronic Sub ‘N’ Up Octaver you can turn your guitar tone into a ringing 12-string or just go crazy with a gigantic synth-style tone. All of this in a very compact unit that will take very little space in your pedalboard, but give you big sounds and options. Related buyer's guidesThis is a musical octaver without unwanted glitches in lower notes and chords, allowing you to transform your electric guitar into a 12-string, a bass, or even a church organ. The JOYO JF-12 features a mid-cut that allows you to scoop out some of the body. That can work quite nicely when playing some crunchy power chords. This pedal offers a lot of sustain for your solos and leads that stand out and cut through a busy mix. When combined with the Octave Up feature, the Fuzz can sound a bit like the White Stripes. Compact and powerful, get sublime dynamic results with Mooer's versatile and robust Octave pedal! Immersive and Versatile It is very easy to operate ( with only three knobs) and allows you the flexibility needed for just doubling lines all the way to creating your very own experimental sounds. Meaning you can focus on the creative side whether it's live or in the studio, and let your tone shine! Mooer MPO1 Pure Octave Pedal Specifications: The Donner Harmonic Square Octave is an octave and pitch shifter pedal that will work great with any six-string guitar, 4-string bass guitars, baritone guitar, etc. It offers three modes of operation. By using its toggle you can choose between Sharp, Detune, and Flat. Each of these delivers a different flavor of octave and lets you explore a myriad of sounds. The other tiny knob (Dry) sets the volume of your original sound. The toggle will produce the most drastic changes in sound as you can change it to choose between the Sharp, Detune, and Flat modes to dictate the amount of pitch-shifting you wish. The big knob (the encoder) will allow you to choose to go up or down by the desired semitones, as well as 1 or 2 octaves, all in a simple to use fashion. Please note the all Mooer micro series pedals must be powered by 9V DC (not supplied) as they are too small for battery compartments! Specification Some pedals do more than one octave up or down and some layer multiple octaves on top of one another to create those organ-type sounds you sometimes hear. Most octave pedals will also allow you to blend your original signal with your octave sound, so you can have the sound of two guitars at once, or just fool everyone into thinking that you’re playing bass guitar. What is the difference between an octave pedal and a pitch shifter pedal?
