About this deal

No matter your preferred method of transport, you’ll see our ads out and about all across the UK. We’ll be on over 8,000 train cards and will deliver thousands of more ads on the tube and at stations across the country . You can also see us on 500 buses in 20+ cities , as we share our Love Mondays message with millions. I designed a cheerful and inspirational colour scheme to match the brand characteristics and a main logo (playing with the idea of a happy face). To support the main logo, there are also a series of submarks / secondary logos that can be used to add character to the brand. Spot us in key locations and cities, including London, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, and many more. In January, we’ll have around 1,900 static ads across the UK. Better still, catch us on high-impact Towers across the UK’s biggest cities, for those commuting by car. It perhaps goes without saying that the decision by the Happy Mondays to make their fourth album, Yes Please!, in the sun-kissed paradise of the Caribbean was not without incident. Recorded at Blue Wave Studios, a lavish complex owned by the reggae star Eddy Grant, its towering costs helped bankrupt Factory Records, the label on which it was released. With sales of 50,000 copies – far less than a quarter of its predecessor, Pills’n’Thrills And Bellyaches - it would be its authors’ last LP for 15 years.

After the Mondays broke through, his drug use spiralled: “I never did Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous or anything like that. Released on August 31, the lead-off single from Yes Please!, Stinkin’ Thinkin’, debuted on the UK chart at number 39. Barely a month later, its parent LP stalled at number 14. The only international chart troubled by its presence was Australia, at number 99. According to Shaun Ryder, “it was not a good album. There were no catchy grooves… it had absolutely no character. Yes Please! wasn’t the Mondays. It could have been anyone.”Last year saw a lot of uncertainty for the jobs market. After a jobs boom following the fallout from the global pandemic, the UK is now heading toward a recession. But, this recession is very different from previous ones that have come and gone… Jobs are still there for the taking – and candidates are still looking for a job they’ll love. Aside from our new creative, our advertising campaign will also sport a catchy jingle (which we hope you’ll love). Listen out for our nationwide ads on the radio and Spotify. We’ll also be making an appearance on some of the UK’s biggest podcasts. Overall, our new audio adverts will be heard more than 6 million times by the end of January! The band announced in September 2012 that they were writing their first album with the original lineup in more than 20 years. [ citation needed] Steve Anglesey (4 May 2012). ‘Nothing off the table’ at Shaun Ryder Dundee and Forfar shows

Robb, John (2009). The North Will Rise Again: Manchester Music City 1976-1996. London: Aurum Press. p.261. Reed.co.uk is dancing its way into 2023. After months of careful planning, the secret is finally out… Let us introduce to you our brand new ‘Love Mondays’ campaign. Elsewhere, in a prescient review in Vox magazine, the music writer Simon Reynolds described the band’s extraordinarily difficult fourth LP as being “as good as Happy Mondays get, but perhaps not good enough to matter. To recoup [its] outlay, [the] LP has to be laden with potential hit singles or to strike some kind of chord with a sizeable faction of the populace. Yes Please!, unless I'm very much mistaken, will fail on both counts.” A fictionalised depiction of the band is featured in the 2002 film 24 Hour Party People, with Danny Cunningham as Shaun Ryder and Paul Popplewell as Paul Ryder. Paul Ryder himself had a cameo role in the film as a gangster and Rowetta appeared in the film as herself. [18] Third incarnation [ edit ] Alongside the logo and colour palette, I developed a series of illustrations that can either be used in isolation or to create patterns. The illustrations help to add depth to the brand and personality.
