About this deal

This doesn't mean the CD10L has no redeeming qualities. It's just as quiet as the CD20LE, at 42dB, and has a high build quality. It's also relatively energy efficient and lightweight - along with being one of the cheapest Electriq models.

Low Energy - The electriQ 20L Dehumidifier is an energy efficient appliance which runs on only 240W. It has a rotary compressor, and uses up to 40% less energy when compared to standard dehumidifiers available. The Electriq 10l dehumidifier is a solid model, but, unlike the 20L version, we can't recommend it over alternatives such as the Meaco Small Home Dehumidifier. It's easy to use and relatively cheap, but struggles to remove enough water from the air compared to its closest competitors. It's not perfect though. The CD20LE is one of the bulkiest dehumidifiers on the market, weighing a hefty 13.8kg and with a width of 42.5cm. The built-in carry handle and castors make it easier to move around the home, but it's certainly not a portable dehumidifier. It's also not as effective in cooler conditions, so for garages or unheated rooms we recommend a desiccant dehumidifier. All costs includes parts, labour, call out and delivery charges, so you can rest assured there are no hidden costs. For smaller units we may ask you to return it to our UK repair centre.

About electriQ

Our Extended5 Year Warranty from Buy It Direct gives you the reassurance that if an electrical or mechanical fault arises you won't be exposed to costly repair bills. Our dedicated technical team will take care of your dehumidifier. Portability - Moving the dehumidifier is easy thanks to the integrated carry handle and four castor wheels.

Two Fan Speeds - The unit sports two fan speeds. The lower speed is quieter and the higher speed gives better air flow and improved performance. To take advantage of this great offer just simply add the warranty extension you want and we'll do the rest. We have a few complaints about this model though. The main problem is that we feel it's overpriced, considering the basic features and 12L extraction rate. It's also relatively noisy and surprisingly heavy. With a 10 litre capacity, the Electriq CD10L is clearly designed for smaller homes than the excellent CD20LE. Unfortunately, we don't think it matches the performance of its bigger sibling.Free unlimited phone support with a UK dedicated claims line. We have a dedicated claims line and are here to help. Refrigerant dehumidifiers work best when there is a big difference in temperature between the coils and air. This is why they tend to be most effective at room temperature and above, but gradually become worse as the temperature drops.

Even so, it does a brilliant job of removing moisture from the air. While it's unlikely to get near 20 litres per day, it pulls large amounts of water from the air - especially at room temperature or higher. It also has a four litre water tank, so you won't need to empty it as often as other models (although this is smaller than the 6 litre Meaco Low Energy 20L). Who are Electriq though? Which are the company's the best dehumidifiers? And are there any you should avoid? Let's find out. Who Are Electriq? If youre finding it difficult to dry laundry outside due to the unpredictable weather or large amount of clothing then youll be pleased to hear that the CD20L comes with a laundry mode setting. This clever little feature significantly reduces the drying time of damp laundry on a radiator airer/towelOne complaint we have about this model is the 5 litre water tank. While this is bigger than most tanks, we would have liked a 6 litre tank considering the high maximum extraction rate. It's also not cheap, so there are probably better options if you don't need the "Smart" features.
