The Russell Hobbs Desire Food Processor has two speeds and a pulse setting, which is very high power and can create smooth sauces easily. This function took a while to set up - you have to install the attachment, the nest for the discs and then the disc itself - but once that’s all done, it was easy to use. We would have liked another disc for larger slicing, because the slicing side of the disc is quite fine and not suitable for large shavings of cheese or vegetables. We also found that there was a little of whatever we sliced (be it courgette or cheddar) left at the very top of the blade, because the pusher doesn't quite fit all the way down into the bowl.
