While the session was useless, they realized they must treat each other better. Louise treats her mom with more respect after this, and Linda gives Louise more space. They fight again when Linda tries to make Louise and her siblings do chores in " Fight at the Not Okay Chore-Ral." The conflict becomes worse enough to make Linda cry, so Louise apologizes to her. Linda also says sorry because she only wanted to do this because of the pressures of being a good mom from her mom, Gloria.
