About this deal

No, it wasn't forced - okay, let's take another ship from another fandom as an example. Caleo. This is a forced ship. Boy washes up on island, annoys island girl, eventually both do a 180 and ship has sailed. Pre-tty basic in the forming (please go to the Riordan wiki if you would like to have a ton more reasons why it simply doesn't work). Christina X Tobias (T-Tostina?) was formed throughout the Allegiant-WCBM mended split. Though neither of them were ready to move on, they leaned on each other for support. This was developed over time. There was quite some character developement., too. They rather disliked each other in Divergent, learned to appreciate each other in Insurgent & Allegiant. In WCBM, they realized they could rely on one another. The short story serves as an epilogue to the series. Taking place three years after the events of Allegiant, it focuses on Tobias and Christina as they slowly form a romantic relationship as a way to fill the void left behind by their dead lovers: Tris and Will. Christopher Borrelli (22 October 2013). "The next YA superstar?". Chicago Tribune . Retrieved 23 October 2013. I ask her, “Why are you here? I thought you were in the Fringe.” Myza smiles and says, “I stayed in a house outside of the city, near the Fringe for 2 years. After that I travelled the world a bit and spoke about climate change and how saving the environment is the most important thing we can do. I even did some research projects with Cara and Matthew. I returned to Chicago a year ago and became a police officer. I have tried to look for you, to reunite with you, but I haven’t been able to find you. I just wanted to say I am proud of you Tobias, you have made it this far. Tris would be proud of you.”

Insurgent, the second film in The Divergent Series, was adapted by director Robert Schwentke from Veronica Roth’s novel of the same name, published in 2012. It occurs five days after The story of Tris Prior and the dystopian, post-apocalyptic Chicago continues after the events of Divergent. It’s clear that a war is imminent after the events of the last film, with tensions rising between the various groups and their competing ideologies. Tris struggles with loss, guilt, forgiveness, identity, loyalty, politics, and love as she tries to protect the people she cares about. In the film, After the rebellion, Tris and Four are on the run while they look for friends and answers. Tris and Four are being pursued by Jeanine Matthews, the leader of the Erudite faction, and they have a limited amount of time to discover why the Erudite leaders will stop at nothing to prevent them from learning the truth about why the Abnegation gave their lives to protect it. As she uncovers the truth about the past and, ultimately, the future of her world, Tris faces one impossible challenge after another while being haunted by her past choices and the desire to protect the people she loves.

About this book

Dominus, Susan (12 May 2011). "In This Dystopia, Teens Must Choose Wisely". The New York Times . Retrieved 28 December 2012. Divergent is a series of young adult science fiction adventure novels by American novelist Veronica Roth set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian Chicago. [1] The trilogy consists of Divergent (2011), Insurgent (2012), and Allegiant (2013). [2] [3] A related book, Four (2014), presents a series of short stories told from the perspective of one of the trilogy's characters, the male love interest Tobias. A later short story, We Can Be Mended (2018), serves as an epilogue five years after the events of the trilogy, again from Tobias/Four's perspective.

The woman smiles and says, “Tobias. It has been a while.” Cara leaves and says, “You have some catching up to do. Christina come with me, they have chocolate cake.” When Cara mentions the chocolate cake, I almost want to go over there and eat all of it. I think that it can wait though, I need to find out who this woman is. In the Divergent book, she was said to have dark skin. Zoe Kravitz, the actress who portrays Christina, has lighter skin than was described in the book. Kravitz also was only 5'2", shorter than her original height: 5'8", in the books. I understand the intent of the story. The author wants us to know how the world has evolved or changed in the last five years and what the characters are up to. Her intention and the actual execution failed to communicate. I did not feel why this short story was necessary and I also felt let down by it.

It was also incredibly short so the author had no time to build up to anything in the way I think she should have. It felt more like attempting to cash in on the previous success of her series when launching her new series, then writing something that needed to be written. She did not write something that deserved to have been added to the canon of her world in my opinion. In the Divergent epilogue, We Can Be Mended, it is confirmed that Tobias and Christina become a couple after Tris died to replace her brother Caleb Prior. It's natural (this kind of adds on to

I realize that: a) some people don't like the Christina X Tobias canon ship and b) there's a million other posts about this, but I wanna have my say.In insurgent, Christina is shown holding Caleb's arm, and in Allegiant when there are only two seats in the Aircraft, she sits on his knee and tells him: "Hand's off or I'll throw you out." But later on when they crash, he grabs her waist. When she repeats: "We're gonna die" Three times, He holds her tighter. And she just smiles at him. The Divergent Series': 'Insurgent' to be Released in March 2015; The Spark between Shailene and Theo Continues". 9 February 2015 . Retrieved 20 July 2015. Ive said many times why I think Tobina are good for each other, I have no ill feelings towards them. The gif above accurately captures my feelings on this. I mean, sure I don't want Tobias to be sad and alone forever, but in a relationship with Christina? No. Maybe Cara. Has anyone else considered that? I don't necessarily ship it, but if he must end up with someone we already know, I'd rather it be her than Christina.
