Mila really held her own with the prude women who may or may not have a screw loose. Overall I have to say that all the secondary characters around Ronan were great additions and seeing them warming up to Mila. she has Gianna’a unhinged and unabashed nature. but Christian’s blunt A heaviness pooled in my chest, snuffing out the anger within. “You hurt me…” The quiet words disappeared in a gust of wind that sent snow whipping through the air. “And I still would have helped you. I would have saved you when you were a boy, even knowing what you would to me…”

Starting this book as soon as I finished the last one and I bet Danielle Lori is practicing witchcraft as she wrote this series because how can I not get enough? To prove a point, this book is no exception for being hypnotic and tantalizing. Her writing is as amazing as ever and it was unputdownable. Then, she is assaulted but she escapes before she is raped. And Ronan lives nearby and helps her at her worst, or she thinks so because later we learn that he lured her towards his place. He sent that man after her. And when he saw she was this beautiful young girl, he decided to rape her. What if he had succeeded? It would have been on Ronan’s hands.anyway the point is that no matter how much the hero hurts her emotionally she can't possibly keep her hands off him. the word pride isn't in her vocabulary. like even at 85% she's not even sure he even cares about her. In the second half of the book their chemistry was growing more and more palpable. It took time to warm up to Ronan... (still not sure I was entirely won over).

And what I love about it is that, yes, she finds it in the hero, but she also succeeds in finding it in herself by the end. I'm frustrated because I waited 9 months for this book, and admittedly, I probably hyped it up too much in my mind. But based on how the previous two books went I thought Darkest Temptation would be a guaranteed win for me. There is not a single thing don't love about this every evil streak, every toxic trait I love everybody about him. when Mila first meets Ronan, at first she kinda had a fangirl crush towards him, as any woman should apparently. so obviously, knowing that i'm a ho for enemies to lovers, of course my first reaction is this:The characters, as always, were fleshed out in glorious fashion. I really, really, no matter how I try, can’t put into words how much I loved Mila and Ronan. I Loved The Way This Story Was Written. We Began By Being Immersed In Gianna’s Past Before Transitioning Into The Present. Occasionally, There Were Moments That Blended With The Sweetest Oblivion, And I Was Fascinated To See Things From A Different Perspective. While We Spent Most Of The Time Inside Gianna’s Head, We Also Had Several Chapters With Christian.
