Being a child of the '80s the only thing that this is missing is some sort of electronics for sound and lights. I would have liked that as I remember it on the original one that I still own.

The plastic is similar to what was used on the 6"-scale Tie Fighter, but it doesn't feel flimsy because of how compact this ship's elements are as a whole. The plastic does make the ship somewhat light in weight, which I actually appreciate. It's got enough heft to not go anywhere, but it's not going to rip your shelf off the wall. Something I always hankered for were the vehicles but we could never afford them (though I did save up for a Speeder in time). The Snowspeeder used to be one of those that I most eyed with envy, I loved it.
