we also have theo, which is my favorite. those who read reverse harem JUST KNOW it always has the character that is super cute and protective with a dark past and probably tattoos, piercing and/ or a crazy appetite for sex we wouln't imagine about......... this is theo. Callie Rose’s novel “The Lie” is an enjoyable novel that follows on from the events of the first novel of the “Kings of Linwood Academy” series of novels. This book is good and dark. But I guess it gotta be dark when the three love interests are genuine stalkers.

Natalie may be a bitch but she had her reasons for doing what she did. She's trying to survive by putting her own needs above anyone else's. When she is not writing her novels she can be found lounging with her husband and puppy, bingeing Netflix shows and drinking wine. She is also huge on travel and loves to see new things and new places which are usually the inspiration for many of her novels.But one fateful night, an unwanted selfless act made her jump between three bullets and Marcus Constantine and irrevocably changed her life - to the worst.

Rose loves to read angsty books but when it comes to TV comedies are her bread and butter. She loves reading reverse harem novels which she discovered several years ago and has never stopped reading them.Marcus, Ryland (love his name so much), and Theo are our H’s. Marcus is top dog, a bit obsessive, and has the prettiest eyes ever. Ryland is hard and closed off and Theo is our pretty boy that balances them out. This was something I didn’t feel through the first two books.. like AT ALL.. so it’s really hard to put my finger on the exact reason I felt this way through this book. All I can boil it down to is I just felt a disconnect with her character this time around. And I re-read the first two books before starting the third! Ahhh! Just what I needed! At first I was like is this another Fifty Shades of Grey, where there is an alpha male who is rich and will stalk his "obsession"? And ummm yes it was kinda like that. I think that the fact that Marcus (the beautiful earth and air eyed man) literally stalks the crap out of our main character with his two friends Theo (the goofy not serious one) and Ryland (broad silent type). Once she graduated from college, she became more serious with her writing even though it would take several years before she decided to take a stab at publishing. She is now glad that she took the plunge since becoming an author changed her life as it has become more than a hobby. I really love reading about female side characters who have some sort of personality other than being a best friend or a jealous ex.For the majority of the book I thought it was going to be a pnr. Don’t ask why, I don’t know! Maybe it was the ethereal feel to her dreams or her “connections” with the guys? I was expecting vampire or shifters at the end…so don’t be like me. It has zero pnr action. It's a RH, but there are only a couple steamy scenes and those are with one guy. i liked! marcus was the main character here and we didn't have any groupal scene (i was expecting, i confess).......... i can say marcus is hot. that's it. after the accident, the guy becomes obsessed with the girl who was capable of saving him without knowing who he was. that's why he involves his best friends almost brothers, ryland and theo to help him protecting ayla.
