About this deal

The Poppy Appeal will be collecting inside the stadium, with the post-match festivities include a rugby game between the 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery and 4th Regiment Royal Artillery on the main field at 5.15pm.

Newcastle United was formed in the summer of 1892 when Newcastle East End absorbed the assets of city rivals Newcastle West End, including the lease of St. James’ Park. Meanwhile Newcastle Falcons will be honouring armed forces personnel at Sunday’s Anglo-Welsh Cup visit of Northampton Saints. We take a look at our crests over the years, what they consist of and what their individual components signify. Our shirts first had the city's Coat of Arms emblazoned on them as early as 1911, but it was in 1969 that the club finally adopted it as an official emblem. Newcastle United is offering a ceramic poppy attached to a club badge so football fans can support the Royal British Legion.
