With that being said, what follows is a short review, because frankly, I feel like I've devoted too much time to this book already just by reading it and actually being able to finish it. No podía parar de leerlo, se lee muy rápido y me cayeron tan bien los personajes en el primer libro que me encanta poder leer más historias suyas. I don't know how I stumbled upon Wattpad, but I sure am glad I did. The Kissing Booth was one of the first few stories I've read. It has got me through a lot of emotions that I fell in love with it. Elle and Noah (Flynn)'s story just draws you to it - to read more, to want more, to fall in love, to get hurt, to ask for more, and leaves you wondering. Even if I'm not a fan of such "endings" because I have a penchant for assurance, I don't care this time. I love it. I love it! Not a lot of writers on Wattpad are like her. There are some who also practice the potence of proofreading, but it just so happens that Reekles knows how to get to the hearts of young teens and hopeless romantics looking for a great read.If you grew up on John Hughes movies and are not a member of Generation Butthurt, you might find this enjoyable as well. Or you can make me morph into Mallory Archer and want to scream at you . . . . Can't say I enjoyed this at all. The thing I can't get over is the age (16) of the main character. She was at parties until 2 in the morning, drinking, jumping up on tables and dancing in front of intoxicated boys, and having sex. On top of that, her father apparently had no problem with all that she was doing, and even merrily sent her out with alcohol when she is underaged ( at least in U.S. standards). Maybe I am being a prude with this, but I am 17 myself reading this and she felt far too young.

Noah risks not graduating by being absent from school for the next few weeks, and Lee completely ignores Elle. Elle sees Lee at the arcade and he invites her to dance with him, and they reconcile. Then Elle aces her USC interview, gets into her program, and goes off to school. As she explains in a voiceover, she stays best friends with Lee all through college, until graduation. Wait, what? Para mí esas escenas son icónicas (sobre todo la importancia que tiene esto último en la segunda película...) Tengo curiosidad por ver qué será el centro de todo en "Amor a distancia".
