The book concludes with his experiences during the Bolshevik Revolution and his and Gurdjieff's eventual escape to the West, where they continued to teach Gurdjieff's system to many followers until their respective deaths in 1947 and 1949. The latter part of the book also describes the author's feelings and motives behind his eventual decision to teach the system independently, not under the direct supervision of his teacher, Gurdjieff, which he formally announced to his students in London in early 1924. IMHO this album is not really bad, but certainly only interesting for specialists and collectors in this genre. In Search of the Miraculous: Fragments of an Unknown Teaching is a 1949 book by Russian philosopher P. D. Ouspensky which recounts his meeting and subsequent association with George Gurdjieff. And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;

For there will arise false christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones. Nonostante la valutazione bassa sono contenta di aver letto finalmente del suo insegnamento perché ho capito che non fa per me. Sono una persona curiosa che cerca sempre di conoscere dottrine a me sconosciute per vedere se possono aiutare a vivere meglio o per vedere se danno risposte. Purtroppo non è che abbia capito molto di questo insegnamento perché è quasi tutto inverosimile, poco probabile, e alcune cose sono dette ma non dette perché i suoi allievi erano comunque tenuti a mantenere alcuni segreti. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works' sake.Effort Beliefs Count: The Predictive Effects of Effort Beliefs on Students’ Emotion, Attribution, and Behavior Toward Academic Failure in a Confucian Cultural Context On September 5, the first anniversary of Mother Teresa’s death, two sisters at the home placed on the tumour a medallion which had touched the body of Mother Teresa, lying in the Mother House, and offered prayers for Besra’s life. Eight hours later, the tumour had vanished. In this book he tells us how he met his teacher (who was simply a seeker who had heard multiple theories and studied with several teachers in the East) and how he became his disciple. This teacher, whom he only calls "G" (he does not want to use names because Peter is Russian and the narration of the book is at the time of the Russian Revolution) was simply another seeker. Inventor of fantastic theories that he could not explain to his students because he himself did not understand them, what is now called "pseudo-science", which finally after years of following he decides to separate to go his own way. Who sent signs and miracles into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh and upon all his servants;

I would recommend this for fans of vintage keyboard sounds, retrogamers. and certainly all those interested of von Däniken's fantastic books... Well, maybe the album titles referring to them do not have any impact to the music, but in this case I do not see it as any kind of trouble, but actually underlining the deep meaningfulness of this all. But I warn, DO NOT buy this due the famous great drummer included in it! His presence does not make this record anything special, nor does it ruins it, he just IS there. I encourage to try to approach the record without any preliminary demands, if descripted characteristics appear appealing.fairly obscure and something of a kept secret! Swamped in dreamy and lavish keyboards, the album houses everything from pseudo-science/alternative history books inspired by the theories of author Erik von Daniken, `...Ancient Gods' enjoys A new edition of the groundbreaking spiritual treasure, with a foreword by bestselling author Marianne Williamson . Since its original publication in 1949, In Search of the Miraculous has been hailed as the most valuable and reliable documentation of G. I. Gurdjieff's thoughts and universal view. This historic and influential work is considered by many to be a primer of mystical thought as expressed through the Work, a combination of Eastern philosophies that had for centuries been passed on orally from teacher to student. Gurdjieff's goal, to introduce the Work to the West, attracted many students, among them Ouspensky, an established mathematician, journalist, and, with the publication of In Search of the Miraculous, an eloquent and persuasive proselyte. Keyboardist and flautist Paul Fishman's 1976 work `In Search of Ancient Gods', under the project name Absolute Elsewhere, is

What I mean is that some saints have such extraordinary lives of signs and wonders that even faithful Catholics can easily be tempted to say, “Come on — that’s got to be a story for children. Nothing like that happens today!” The essence of the story was the same in this picturesque city in central Portugal; a series of apparitions, apparently of the mother of Christ, to a child – 10-year-old shepherd girl Lucia dos Santos, plus her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto – in a rural location, this time in 1917. But the visitations had a much darker tone than those in 1858. Lucia would not reveal the first two of the “Three Secrets” divulged to her (her cousins would die in the Spanish Flu pandemic) until 1941 – when they would be outlined as, respectively, a disturbing vision of hell, and a prediction of the Second World War. Yet these incidents were enough to cement Fatima’s position as a place of pilgrimage. The room in the monastery where Vivekananda lived and died is as he left it, an iron four-poster bed, under a canopy of gold cloth, the walls covered with portraits garlanded in marigolds, an overpowering smell of incense. Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. It took the Catholic church four years to accumulate and examine the evidence necessary to beatify Mother Teresa and affirm that the healing of Monika Besra was indeed, by all the criteria required, a miracle.

Simon himself also believed. Being baptized, he continued with Philip. Seeing signs and great miracles occurring, he was amazed. In Search of the Miraculous: The Definitive Exploration of G. I.
