About this deal

If you don’t care about the magnetic tape and don’t have carpets or already have a traditional vacuum that would be the main cleaner get the eufy RoboVac 15C. The G30 Verge is also able to detect boundary strips. The main difference between the G30 Verge and G30 Edge is the amount of boundary strip included. You will receive 2m of strip with the Verge and 4m with the Edge. Eufy has added some significant navigation skills to the G30 Edge and they’re worth having. The G30 Edge isn’t as sophisticated at map building and learning about its environment as rival models like the Neato Botvac D7 Connected but the basic mapmaking displayed here is better than the trundle and bump navigation we’ve seen on Eufy’s cheaper models, such as the 15C.

The C model line includes the robot vacuums with random navigation. Those models look alike underneath and have about the same specifications. The difference between those eufy robots is WiFi connectivity which also makes a robot able to integrate with Alexa/Google Home. The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid is the only robot vacuum in the family that is laser-guided which means it creates a map when cleaning and is the most efficient among all the robots in the line. It is also the only model that saves a created map and supports virtual no-go/no-mop zones and can be sent to clean a specific room or a few. It has the best climbing ability and is suitable for medium-pile carpets. The L and X series are the only robots guided by Lidar, save a cleaning map, have the most advanced navigation, can be sent to clean a specific room/area, and can be used in a bigger house. The eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid has the smallest battery life. It comes with mopping attachments and, as the manufacturer claims, is not designed for carpet surface cleaning. The eufy RoboVac G40 is the only one with an allergycare filtration system and a self-emptying dustbin. As with all of Eufy’s best robot vacuums, it is suited to both low and medium-pile carpet. Whilst it’s able to handle rugs fairly well, it’s not recommended if you have high-pile carpet throughout your home.

The G30 is only slightly cheaper than the G30 Edge so it seems a worthwhile upgrade to utilise the no-go zones feature, especially considering it comes with boundary strips included. Apart from this differentiation, the vacuums are mostly identical. The WiFi-enabled "C", "G", "L", and "X" Series can be controlled from your smartphone as well as voice commands if you have Alexa or Google Home. Cliff & Anti-Collision Sensors Suction Power. The Eufy RoboVac 30C has stronger suction. The 15C is suitable for hard floors and some thin carpets. If you have low-pile carpets or pets, get the eufy RoboVac 30C;Because of being not as powerful and a different type of disposable bag, the eufy RoboVac LR30 Hybrid+ is cheaper.

The models with MAX in naming mean these are the most powerful machines in the Series. Normally they might or might not have Wi-Fi and all the following features but always deliver 2,000 Pa of suction and are suitable for medium-pile carpets. A eufy automatically increases suction on carpets, which is a rare thing for budget robots. This feature provides deep cleaning on thin carpets. All models have this option. Navigation When you open the app while the robot’s working, it shows how many square feet the robot has covered and the duration of that cleaning session. You can also see how much battery it has left. This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. To return faulty items see our Returning Faulty Items policy. Under the hood are 31 sensors, including infrared and a hall effect sensor, which enable the robot vacuum to move around your home avoiding any large furniture. The latter uses magnetic fields to identify position and distance. Unlike some robot vacuums on the market, such as the Ecovacs T8 Aivi, the Eufy RoboVac G30 Hybrid doesn’t have a built-in camera to help it see obstacles. The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid can be used in a big and multi-level house. What is the eufy Hybrid model line? Eufy With Mopping I would suggest getting the L70 Hybrid as it is Lidar-guided, has a bigger battery and is the most efficient among the others which helps it to finish cleaning faster. It also has the strongest suction which definitely helps with pet hair. The eufy G30 takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to clean my apartment. That’s a little longer than your standard robot vacuum; most models I’ve tested take about 50 minutes to clean the same space. However, I noticed two odd things when monitoring the G30 vacuum and EufyHome app closely. The G lineup is guided by a gyroscope following a purposeful pattern and is more suitable for bigger places as they have fewer chances to miss some spots untouched compared to the C line. This robot vacuum also uses a brushless motor. That isn’t to say that there are no brushes on it; it still uses side brushes and a brush roll to collect dirt and debris. The motor, however, is brushless, so the G30 is much quieter than most vacuums or robot vacuums during operation despite its maximum of 2000Pa suction power. It’s so quiet, in fact, that the noise level of the RoboVac G30’s wheels on the floor is comparable to the sound of its motor. Eufy promises that, at 55-68dB, it’s about as loud as a microwave oven, and I have to agree. If you like to turn your robot vacuum before quiet times, you’ll really appreciate its super-low operating volume—and if, like me, you have a pet that’s a little anxious, they’ll love it, too.
