An easy-to-digest diet can speed up recovery. Don’t give your dog anything rich or fatty – this could make their diarrhoea much worse! Give the missed dose as soon as you remember, and then wait the recommended amount of time between doses. Never give your pet two doses at once or give extra doses. Although it's not for canine use, ranitidine can be beneficial under veterinary supervision in dogs, cats, and horses.
