Change the input color format to PC RGB or YPbPr in the Color Settings On-Screen Display Menu (OSD). Some combinations of USB Type-C to HDMI dongle and video or graphics card (GPU) are not compatible to support the YCbCr color format. Connect the USB upstream cable (shipped with your monitor) to an appropriate USB 3.0 port on your computer. Of course, the biggest attraction here is the selection of ports. Dell markets the P2422HE as a “hub monitor”, and that’s I’d say that was pretty much on the money. This monitor covers every conceivable base and a few more for good measure. I’m particularly fond of the daisy-chaining feature, which I pushed to its limits by connecting the P2422HE to the 34in ultrawide Huawei MateView GT (with no difficulties whatsoever, I should add). Note: The Dell P2422H monitor is heavy; handle with extreme care. It is recommended to have two people to lift or move this monitor. Disable the YCbCr setting from the video or graphics card (GPU) utility like Intel HD Graphics Control Panel Dim or discolored video can be caused by the video cable, so try reseating the cable and swapping with a known good part. Due to legacy platform cannot recognize or output 1920 x 1080, we suggest changing EDID to lower resolution to cover this compatibility problem.

Dell P2422H does not support audio or sound using HDMI. Speakers or headphones must be connected using the audio connector on the PC. Dell P2422H supports Picture by Picture (PBP) mode.
