About this deal

my theory still stands: colleen hoover, ironically, cannot write a good romance. i believe every single one of her books has these terrible, wild plot twists to cover up the fact that she cannot. lily and atlas had zero chemistry apart from them talking about how miserable they were when they first met and how they were each other’s saving grace. Regretting You follows a young mother, Morgan, and her teenage daughter Clara. Morgan is determined to keep Clara from making the same mistakes she did, getting married and pregnant far too young, and Clara basically thinks her mom is uncool. The two must learn to coexist when Chris, their husband and father respectively, suddenly and mysteriously dies.

i don’t get why this book had to exist. it just feels like she is monetizing off the weird success it ends with us got on booktok, and it definitely reads like a cash grab as well. Finding Perfect brings together characters and storylines from Hopeless, Losing Hope, Finding Cinderella, and All Your Perfects. Delivering the conclusions we've been waiting for through the eyes of Daniel from Finding Cinderella, this is the heartwarming ending you wanted. She soon finds an unfinished autobiography that reveals a dark family secret that could devastate Verity's husband, and a man Lowen is finding herself undeniably drawn to. Nobody is perfect, and no two people know this more than married couple, Quinn and Graham. After a past built on mistakes and secrets, the couple fights for marital survival, hoping to build a future that will last. But is their love past repair? A gripping, heart-breaking read.A chance encounter results in a real life fairytale for Daniel, who meets a mysterious girl only for her to disappear after one hour of deep, emotional connection between them. Will he find Cinderella? Sydney is living an amazing life with her best friend and has a caring and loving boyfriend. But Sydney's idyllic bubble is about to burst when she discovers her boyfriend is actually a cheat. Thrown into the arms of musician Ridge, Sydney does her best to move on, but it's not as easy as she'd hoped. I’ve read It Ends with Us years ago and that book made me bawl my eyes out, because it was such an honest and realistic story about a women finally ending the circle of abuse in her family. IEWU had a purpose and meaning. Whereas, It Starts With Us reads like every other second-chance romance between two past lovers that shared a connection in their childhood. Reading Lily and Atlas romance gave me n o t h i n g. This was dryer than any cactus in the dept of the Sahara. Their interactions made me yawn, I’m sorry but Atlas was better as a side character in IEWU. Atlas is (maybe) the most unproblematic Colleen Hoover Hero, but imo that also makes him the most boring one. This all sounds rather harsh, but it's really not that bad. It was an alright way to pass a few hours if you're not quite ready to leave the world of Lily and Atlas. This pleasant and unexciting story won't leave you breathless, but it shouldn't offend either. Just be ready to forget about it almost as soon as you're done.

This novel begins with an unlikely attraction between a nurse named Tate Collins and an airline pilot, Miles Archer. Balancing busy schedules, total disdain for each other, and an undeniable physical attraction, the two decide to spark up a sex-only arrangement with two basic rules—don’t ask about the past, and don’t expect a future.

Hobbies

Although heart wrenching in parts, at its core All Your Perfects is deeply optimistic, and a powerful reminder that we shouldn’t let the bad things in life outweigh the good. The Bookworm Box is proud to present Two More Days, our second anthology installment. Much like the first installment, Two More Days is an exciting and unique reading experience with contributions from several of our charity's featured authors. Each author was given the same first sentence. Where they took that sentence was completely up to them. When I first finished Hopeless, I went through major withdrawals after becoming so emotionally invested in the characters and their journeys. With so many twists and turns, the reader is left desperate for more, and Hoover delivers with a sequel called Losing Hope that is equally captivating and a novella called Finding Cinderella which expands the literary universe. a sequel, which is an outright romance, being written to a book (marketed as a romance which is so gross) about domestic abuse really throws me off.

For those who tend to steer clear of Colleen Hoover books thinking they're cheesy or predictable, this story will surely challenge that notion. Hopeless is an engaging and thought-provoking story about a seventeen-year-old named Sky who lives a bit of a sheltered life. However, her worldview is completely changed when she meets a boy with a bad reputation named Dean Holder. Through her time with him, she begins to remember things about her childhood that make her question everything she thought she knew and uncover the truth about her upbringing. Auburn Reed is trying to rebuild her life when she walks into an art studio looking for a new career. Here, she meets Owen, an enigmatic artist who she can't help but fall for, but soon discovers that a huge secret that could ruin everything.

I also want to add, I loved the side characters. Every single one of them. Theo and Josh stole my goddamn heart. The only thing I rolled my eyes at was Lily writing to Ellen still but alas a book can’t be too perfect. Colleen Hoover Ebook Boxed Set Hopeless Series: Hopeless, Losing Hope, Finding Cinderella, and Finding Perfect (2022)

In the second book in the Hopeless saga, we see Dean unravel his past and come to terms with a life-changing moment. But, when he tries to figure things out, it only leaves him with more unanswered questions. Quinn and Graham didn’t meet in the most conventional way. After all, how many couples can say they have their cheating exes to thank for bringing them together? Despite this less-than-typical start, it’s clear from the beginning that Quinn and Graham are destined for each other, and for the first few years of their marriage, they are completely in love, blissfully happy. Each author has graciously donated their story so that 100% of profits from this anthology will be going to the various charities The Bookworm Box is able to support because of you, the readers. It’s funny how you can be so happy with someone and love them so much, it creates an underlying sense of fear in you that you never knew before them. The fear of losing them. The fear of them getting hurt. I imagine that’s what it’s like when you have children. It’s probably the most incredible kind of love you’ll ever know, but it’s also the most terrifying.” also. every time tiktok is mentioned in a book, an angel loses its wings. you're telling me lily knows about tiktok and gen z but she doesn't know that ellen is a horrible person? ok
