This scent does reminds me a bit of Miracle by Lancome, another scent that I do love. They share the freshness, the cleanliness, that gives me the feeling as if I just took a shower all day, so I guess that it is the freesia, that is responsible for that. Projection is not that much great, projects well in the first hour and then close to the skin. Would've like it a lot if it projected more. Longevity on my skin is good. stays for like 4 hours max.First time, it was 2-3 hrs after applying and I had been walking outside in the cold windy streets of Detroit and then walked into a restaurant and the hostess said “ Oh my God you smell amazing.” Man this a nice surprise. The difference though is this has less of that "salty" or "lemony" feel of the previous ones and is softer, more "clean" type of scent. I don't smell the Watermelon here as a individual note, but i do get that Peppery, citric muskiness that is very clean and airy and the pepper gives that bite that prevents it from becoming a bland white smell. In that regard, i wouldn't call this a fruity scent. It starts with a lot of fruit, freshness and pleasantly discreet spice. Melon and mandarin combine well to a fruity note, which is very pleasant. The freshness is not too citric with citric notes, but rather perceptible as a pleasant freshness. A pleasant sweetness is also present, which fits in well. The seasoning is subtle and gentle. The cardamom fits perfectly into the top note and remains present longer. I don't really perceive the heart note of pepper and cinnamon, but it's quite possible that these notes fit in here. It resembles DKNY Men so easily, which is also indicated here as a fragrance twin. Would also be a much cheaper alternative to Amyris Homme from MFK, which is not a fragrance twin, but still goes in a similar direction. First off, I feel the description of this is hilarious - it goes off on how "very masculine" thus is and how it's for a refined gentleman and so on... It's none of these, it is a deliciously sweet and fluffy synthetic scent that would likely appeal to teens posing as adults. Don't get me wrong, I love this scent as it is quite reminiscent of Acqua di Gio but with the sweetness turned up to 11! It has a playful fizzy accord that melds the citrus and melon notes quite well. To me, this smells like a store that sells fragrant melon sorbet, spiced cola, and has some fragrant wood flooring. I'm not even going to try and dissect the notes - it's an amalgam of sweet, spiced woods and it works! It hangs around for a good 8 hours or so and would definitely work on a woman who enjoys woody scents and sweets. The drydown is just a vague fizzy wood that is very similar to the fizzy goodness of Moschino Uomo (a much cheaper and equally great fume) - great for teens and those young at heart! I hope you all find something transcendental - even the smallest moment can move you if you're open to it! My personal rating because im not a fan of 'easy to like' fruity fragrances as much as others may be. A lot of them tend to not be distinctive for my tastes. But I must admit I find this scent to be very decent and there are places for it in my rotation especially during the spring. I've reached for it more in 2015 than CH MEN ironically.

In fact, no real substitutes discovered yet even though a lot of great muguet materials out there, especially Lyral, is still irreplaceable, perhaps not in terms of scent but in terms of longevity, its effect on the entire blend, fixative properties etc.)
