About this deal

The integrated sound engine boasts 128 voices, offering you an extensive library of tones to select from. This is bolstered by 128 custom accompaniments and 30 demo songs, which are both especially handy practice tools for mastering various playing styles. You'll be able to improve your sense of timing too using the in-built metronome (with 6 contrasting accent settings). The USB charging/MIDI output cable is way too short. I wish it had a 6-foot cable at least. It is only 4 feet long, tip-to-tip.

While an Accompaniment is playing, if you press the keys between A0 and G#2 the chord will synchronise to the style. You can even adjust the beat on the fly.As if that wasn't enough, the Carry-On FP88 can alsodouble-up as a MIDI keyboard too! Play Wherever You want This affordable practice instrument has been designed from the ground-up to solve that age old problem for veteran piano players: "how can I easily transport an 88-key piano?" It's also equally suitable if you're a beginner who's looking for a first piano that can be stored away while not in use. Unique Design This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items.

It weighs 9.7 Lbs (4.4 kg) and can be operated on a battery, providing excellent portability. While this keyboard is not the most lightweight folding piano on this list, it’s still incredibly easy to travel with and I’ve had no issues. This one by NikoMaku is among the best folding piano keyboards on the market and would be a solid choice for players of any skill level. It weighs 8.8 lbs (3.9 kg) and features 88 standard-size keys with semi-weighted action.

Customer reviews

I don’t think this would be great for someone who is a serious pianist because there are a number of compromises: The folding mechanism feels solid. All wires are carefully enclosed in strong, but flexible plastic. That isn’t likely to be a point of failure later, no matter how many times you fold or unfold it. Although the unit has something like 30 built-in demo songs, it has no recording memory. If you want to record, you need to use something external or the midi controller functionality. With a design like this, you'd expect there to be some compromises when it comes to feel, sound and performance. However, that's not the case at all. With 88-keys (and a full-sized keyboard) you have access to the full register of the instrument, with a proper touch and response to match. The Carry On Folding Piano 88 allows you to take a piano where you wouldn't take a piano with a full-range of 88 keys and great feature for incredible performance. Fantastic Folding Piano

Are you a pianist who’s always on the go? Or perhaps someone with limited space but still wants to enjoy playing the piano? If so, a foldable keyboard piano may be a fantastic solution! There is also a very cool noise cancellation technology that reduces the sound of the keys while playing with earphones, which is a huge plus that is not found in other foldable keyboards. This technology provides you with a more focused playing experience. This folding piano stands out with its extremely lightweight body that weighs only 2.8 lbs (1.5 kg) and folds to 13 inches (33 cm). It is almost as if it doesn’t exist, and it’s just so incredible to feel like you’re carrying nothing while you have a full-sized 88-key keyboard with you. This makes traveling so much easier and effortless. Whether you're a beginner, a teacher or a musician that likes to make music on the go, the Carry-On Folding Piano 88 is for you. The speakers work ok, with no more distortion than normal and the headphone port continues to work well, with minimal hiss or distortion. The included USB cable charges the keyboard and allows MIDI-via-USB, so it can be used as a MIDI controller for your favorite software.

Built-in USB rechargeable battery gives up to 8 hours of life on a full charge, for extended playing time wherever you are The keys are touch-sensitive and semi-weighted, which is fantastic to have. If you’re a beginner looking for a keyboard to learn on, this one is an excellent choice as it comes with light-up keys, a visual learning tool. A built-in metronome is there to help you work on your timing too and you can select different accents to get just the right feeling you're looking for. A Wide Range of Sounds I’ve owned Vangoa VGD-882 for some time now and I can definitely say it’s been a game-changer. I can carry it anywhere by just folding it in half and putting it into its bag. Sometimes even at home, I prefer to play the Vangoa over my Yamaha P-45 because it’s much easier to carry around when I feel like playing in another room.

The speakers aren’t the best in terms of sound quality. Not terrible, but not great. Thankfully the headphone output is clean.
