The plot is really interesting as Valentina’s secrets from her former marriage are revealed and she is allowed to work in one of the family owned casinos. She also takes her best friend position to Bibi to the max… go girls! Yeah, it's true that he loved his first wife, but that sad admission at the end explained so much for me! Going into BiBMC, I was aware people had mixed feelings with this series but I think it's cause I was aware of it and went in with low expectations that I enjoyed it more than I originally thought LOL. The only book I didn't like/was disappointed by was the 2nd book (Dante/Val's first book) but I remember how much I (surprisingly) enjoyed everything else. Not really anything new that my favorite story here was Gianna/Matteo. I'm a bit biased, but I also loved how the topic they dealt with felt realistic to their characters and, as someone who loves kids and didn't agree with Gianna's decision, I still respected it just because it's who she is and her character didn't suddenly change just to please the readers. The way she stayed true to herself, even tho it can be annoying at times, is what I personally admire about Gianna's character.

Well, in the spirit of full disclosure, I will admit that I was extremely afraid to read this book. I believe this was a very nice way to sort of end a chapter and open the way for the future books. Considering that a lot of kids were mentioned, we can expect them to be paired up for future books and tbh, I love making correlations and speculations about who will be with whom and how things will change. Dante better tell Valentina that he loves her! I hope that we find out something suspicious about his previous wife that helps Dante get over her. It really bothers me that he is still hung up on her. This is why I hate widowers one books. I feel so guilty for supporting the heroine over the poor dead wife, so it makes me feel much better if the previous wife was terrible. I was not really a fan of the first Dante&Val book, but I was ready to be convinced. Unfortunately, that was not the case.I've waited a very long time for this novel. This was me, when I saw that it had finally been released !

Dante sigue siendo un hombre controlado, sin emoción aparente pero con su familia es otra cosa podemos apreciar cómo ha evolucionado su relación con Val y con sus hijos es todo un amor, me daba mucha ternura cuando estaba con su hija Anna. Luca and Aria: I love my number one babies. The short story of Amo was cute but, I don't think the gym sex short story was necessary. I never expected them to have three kids but, I'm happy about that. Valerio is kinda cute.... it'll grow on me I guess. At first, no matter how hard she tried to be the understanding and compassionate wife, it seemed as if she was fighting a useless uphill battle....

I was excited for Matteo and Gianna but their story was just a long novella about a woman confused about her impending motherhood. A very boring one at that. In Bound by Duty, you want the arranged marriage to work but then you become furious because of Dante’s cold attitude towards his wife. But you also feel for Dante because he is still grieving after losing the love of his life and that is why he thinks that his marriage is just a formality. Basically, the best bit of the book was when Matteo punched Luca in his arrogant stupid face and called him out for cheating. So, I have to say that I quite liked the idea of the book being split into several parts and each focusing on one betrayal. yeah, i felt for him a lot of the times that i mentioned above, but honey, if you can't deal with the problems of running a goddamn mafia family then maybe you're not fit to be the leader at all. i think leonas is gonna be leagues better than his father ever was, #sorrynotsorry.Dante, he was a man following rules, it was ingrained in him from a very young age. The outfit is old school and Dante didn’t agree with most of it. Clearly by the way he betrayed the family more than once. Leonas, I have no clue. I feel that his possible future spouses will be revealed later in the series. How do you look at your 11/12 year old daughters and all you see is a commodity.
