About this deal

There are lots of ways you can listen to Forth 2, you can find us on your good old traditional radio.

It would need to be someone Scottish so probably Euan McGregor. He’d need a lot of make-up though to make him much uglier than he is ;) Catriona shearer who is ex bbc Scotland has covered recently for Cat so is another potential name for the mix. It’s a great fun day but like all these events it’s so dependent on the unreliable Scottish weather which can make or break the day. Most people (ie normal listeners, not radio geeks like us) aren't listening all day and analysing the output. The y are just dipping in and out and likely don't notice or aren't bothered about the repetitive and narrow playlist. I find listening to Tay 2 increasingly annoying - even with a top class breakfast show from Ewan and Cat - because of all the great music from the four decades they are covering that they don't play. SO, after last week’s story on the new beauty craze which involves having snails on your face (boak)…Boogie and producer Martyn decided it would be a good idea for me to try something similar on the show.I thought Garry Spence recorded from Forth as well? Just with Steven coming from Dunfermline. I know it's too far from Dunf to Glasgow but obviously closer to Edinburgh. Not sure where Garry lives but thought it was Edinburgh. They were even there to move the cow last week haha

I can’t watch it without cringing at myself for being a total loser, but someone did say to me afterwards: “There’s nothing more frightening than your own imagination.” We get involved in lots of fun events throughout the year including the annual Forth Awards, where we celebrate local heroes and musicians, and Forth on the Fringe, where we bring you the best acts of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Read more: I think it's been made pretty clear recently that Bauer are no longer willing to piss about making major exceptions. I wouldn't be surprised if Scotland's GHR is a copy of Wales (with a scottish evening opt out obviously), the breakfast show and not a sausage more. Following her attempt, Clyde 1 posted on social media: "We love you @Camila_Cabello BUT, there’s nothing worse than someone trying to do a Scottish accent."

About Boogie in the Morning

We need to try and be at least a wee bit funny so I’ll be spending the next 10 days googling “funny jokes”. ARLENE is on holiday this week so Boogie is joined by Lynne Hoggan, who hosts the Forth One weekend overnight show. I suppose their rationale is that whenever you turn on GHR you're going to hear something familiar, but I'm afraid that in most cases turning on GHR I hear the same old tired and overplayed oldie and rapidly listen to something else. The view from stage of 5000 people holding the hand of the person next to them in a minute’s silence will remain with me for a long time to come.

How can I download the Radio Forth app?

After sifting through dozens of suggestions, the breakfast team opted for 80s hit Kayleigh by Marillion thanks to its local connection, with lead singer "Fish" living in East Lothian. And Forth 1 breakfast presenters Boogie and Arlene Stuart will be hosting a Sunday evening show together from 7pm. Gregor & Lynsey - done holiday cover over the summer with The Big Saturday Football Show and recently in for Boogie & Arlene Well at the moment they still can't put mayo on as they wouldn't meet the 10 hours from Scotland to meet the am requirements They need a Scottish drive show though not mayo in my opinion. Starting to look like drive won't be alan Edwards though. Wonder if an older voice from hits Scotland will make the move either Bowie or Boogie and Arlene. A wild card would be Fred macaulay on air every day

The original song ‘Kayleigh’ never made it to number one, it peaked at number two, so we are really hoping that we can go one better and land the top spot with ‘Break Your Heart’, that really would be a dream come true. They had both trained exceptionally hard to meet the challenges of walking 52 miles in 14 hours and it tested them to the limit. SimpsonsSPFL – A Simpsons/Scottish Football crossover account. Lots of very funny memes… if you are a fan of The Simpsons and Scottish Football This move is testament to our commitment to provide world-class facilities that will continuously offer unique and new experiences for our guests."
