About this deal

Additionally, employing this element enables the canopy to open smoothly, although access is restricted by the dorsal wing. Fortunately, another method is available. The boarding ramp and entrance are not functional, inevitably, but they are represented by one dark bluish grey 2x2 tile which seems appropriately distinctive among the surrounding components. Her hairpiece isn’t 100% accurate but I’m just glad LEGO included one as an option, so you can switch between helmeted and helmetless looks. The Minifigures are distributed throughout the seven bags of the construction, but we shall look at them all, before visiting the build itself.

Cad Bane comes with his two blaster pistols, and is just a great figure all around. His exclusivity to this set will undoubtedly be a huge draw. The ingenious Bad Batch was introduced during Star Wars: The Clone Wars and possesses varied abilities, surpassing normal Clone Troopers. This impressive squad now appears during their own animated series, following the foundation of the burgeoning Galactic Empire. The jail cell for Omega uses a translucent red wall panel which is pretty accurate, and the Omega minifigure fits comfortably inside. Obviously, the stars of this LEGO Star Wars set are the minifigures. Nevertheless, it’s fair to expect the main vehicle to reflect key exterior and interior details of the “real” vehicle, which this scaled-down version does not. The huge speeder bikes feel like they detract from the potential of the shuttle, rather than adding to the overall set.

He has a double-sided head with stern and angry expressions, and a hairpiece which is a reasonable approximation but not perfect, as his headband is printed on his head instead of being moulded into his hair. Hunter's helmet is shared with standard Phase II Clone Troopers, albeit incorporating unique decoration. Even though an exclusive element would have been ideal, I think this component works nicely and the printing looks impressive. Tech does feature his own specialised helmet which includes lovely moulded detail, corresponding with the original character and exhibiting accurate accents. His face print features the injured eye, as well as extensive scarring on the left side of his face. An opening cargo container is also available for accessories and can be removed fairly easily, providing space for another minifigure when necessary. The additional seat is not displayed in any official images but was presumably intended, otherwise this container would be integrated more closely. This option is definitely appreciated, despite the tight squeeze! Are you a fan of the Bad Batch? Whoe’s your favorite member of the team? Why not leave your comments below, and until next time… The wings are also able to pivot up and down. After attaching them, we build some cowling over the engines. It’s frankly an odd choice at this price point to begin with, as the Justifier isn’t really an iconic ship so the high price tag is even more of a hard sell. The other speeder bike is a civilian design, named the Rawlings TK5. Hunter commandeered one such vehicle on Pantora. I love the lime green livery, accented with white stripes adorning the bodywork and adjustable thrust pods. These correspond precisely with the source material and the length of 14cm seems reasonably authentic too. Moreover, the outriggers look suitably slender but feel rigid. A closer look at the engine pod features a building technique that LEGO has started to use more often recently – 2×2 triangle tiles are inserted between studs to create this grilled effect that looks awesome!

Alternative hair pieces accompany these minifigures and each character includes an exclusive head, distinguishing them from standard Clone Troopers. Hunter's facial tattoos and headband are both included, although this headband is hidden under the hair element. Tech looks perfect though, featuring his trademark goggles and a quizzical expression on the reverse. The design shares fitting similarities with other Clone Trooper minifigures.Includes speeder with 2 stud shooters and another speeder with clip for blaster to add to play possibilities His breathing tubes are a new silver molded piece but look superb and less clunky than the previous version, and while his hat is smaller than previous variants it still looks good too. The first minifigure in the set is the highly anticipated Omega figure, who was notably missing from the 2021 Bad Batch Shuttle set. Senior Graphic Designer Madison O'Neil on creating those amazing new minifigures -- including a revealing look at Crosshair. Underneath is just a clip to store an extra spring-loaded missile, which can be mounted into the missile launcher on the ends of each wing. While it feels like this space could’ve been used for more storage, most of the space here is unfortunately taken up by the landing mechanism.
