About this deal

This delivers exactly what it says it does - a cute romance perfect for the summer! I loved the road trip aspect of the book and I was so happy that the road trip takes place for the majority of the book - it was really great to travel on this two-week-long adventure with Noelle and see the sights, The author has a fantastic writing style that really conveys itself well to the genre and to the vibes of the book, so it was a really enjoyable read, and I thought that Noelle and Theo had really great chemistry! One that made me want to become an author: this is tough! I’m going to say Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares. I always considered myself a writer, but reading this series during such a formative period of my life and being transported by the themes of friendship and love woven so beautifully into the series made me wish that someday people would be transported by something I wrote. Not exactly a groundbreaking thing to say, but a romance lives and dies by its romance. I have to buy the romantic relationship to like the book, and in the case of You, With a View, I just didn't.

sight, view or vision? View is more literary than sight or vision. It is the only word for talking about how well you can see: I didn’t have a good sight/vision of the stage. Vision must always be used with a possessive pronoun: my/his/her, etc. (field of) vision. It is not used with the prepositions in, into and out of that are very frequent with sight and view: There was nobody in vision. • A tall figure came into vision. Patterns

I am such a fan of High School rivals turned love interests and this book delivered. I did find myself wanting a bit more of them in the past to truly understand how they came so full circle like they did, but I still found this to be a great summer romance read, nonetheless. You, With a View is a beautiful book made up of all the quintessential summer vibes. This HS enemies to lovers, forced to road trip together in search of a missed romance and a connection to the past, was at times laugh out loud funny, at other times quite sad, but heartwarming and utterly charming throughout. I do wish the end had wrapped up a little faster, but that’s purely because I love the HEA trope, I felt that it was coming and couldn’t wait to see it. I also really wish this had been multiple POV, I would have loved to see Theo’s POV or maybe even a chapter from Paul. I really connected with Noelle and her grief over the loss of her grandmother and the struggle to find a connection to her, as someone who was also very close to my grandmother during the time we shared. I also loved the relationship Noelle forges with Theo’s grandfather and of course Theo himself. When Noelle finds out that Paul and her grandmother's plans to elope were thwarted and they had never finished their planned honeymoon road trip, she decides to go on the trip as a tribute to her grandmother. Paul offers to join her, but his offer has a catch: he will bring his grandson with them!

Were you planning on dry humping me in other places? Just curious.” His teeth flash, almost predatory. You, with a View is angsty, atmospheric perfection. While navigating grief's pain as well as its transformative power, this road trip romance is an unforgettable journey of tenderhearted healing, scorching chemistry, and divinely witty banter." - Chloe Liese After going through her grandmother’s stuff, Noelle finds her pictures and correspondence with a man she’s never heard of from decades ago, leaving her with an inexplicable sense of betrayal: she thought that they were completely open with each other, but there is clearly a huge piece of her grandmother’s story that she was never privy to.
