A seed contains all the nutrients it needs for the first few days of its life but once the weed sends out roots, it then needs water. The roots then spread out, sideways in search of moisture. You may need to pull weeds from around the edges of your artificial grass by hand. Grasp the weed at the plant’s base and pull them up. Try to get the roots out as well. You may need to use a screwdriver to lift the edge of your artificial lawn gently. Weeds that have grown at the edge of your synthetic grass generally don’t have their roots embedded in the material, making them easier to remove. You could also use a crabgrass removal tool.
