About this deal

This is the 1st time reading this author and I really enjoyed this duet. Its dark and intense. The trio are terrible they really are and they do some terrible things to Laundry but somewhere along the line we find they fall for her and instead of trying to ruin her they do everything in their power to protect her. This duet is very fast paced and it is scorching hot and I couldnt read fast enough. The Love Story: Ash has a job as a cleaning woman at the Halcyon Building that is owned by the Constantine’s and house their corporate offices. Ash is working as a cleaning lady because her father spent her college fund on his new wife. Winston makes Ash an offer she can’t refuse. With each encounter, I’m lured deeper into the labyrinth. The danger lurking beneath his surface calls to me, even as it warns me away. I don't know what it was about Landry but she felt so young to me. I liked her fierceness but she felt like a teenager rather than a grown women. I couldn't shake it.

Oh goodness I laughed so hard with their antics. They gave me so much delight. They also have the story some lightheartedness.Said father decides to marry her off to a Constantine and even enrolls her in college. But that's when the nightmare triplets from K. Webster's Cinderella trilogy enter the scene. They have to cause chaos and put a dent on the marriage plans on behalf of their uncle, mighty nasty Bryant Morelli. What an amazing conclusion to this duet in Death Wish. This terrible trio have given us so much chaos and angst but are they are so very delicious 😋 basically, throughout the whole book, the dad is very abusive with laundry's lil sis who is deaf, but he loves laundry. the deaf sis, della, is 6 years old and the mom died giving birth to her. basically, laundry is very protective over her. the dad out of nowhere starts being abusive with laundry bc he wants to marry her off. this isn't the weird part. With that said, I have a thing for villain. Especially, in this case, I have a thing for Scout (the most sadistic one). Villains are interesting. Better an interesting villain than morally greyed ambiguous antihero, in my opinion.

Now that the secret about their identity is out, the romance felt more genuine. I wasn't sold on Scout in book 1, but he really does a 180 in this sequel and proves how much he loves Landry. All the boys do a fantastic job at redeeming themselves in Landry's eyes after their deception. The steam is FIRE in Death Wish too. K. Webster knows how to write steamy reads and she didn't disappoint here! Laundry knows that Ford does not exist, and is in fact three brothers with the same face, but completely different in other capacities. Now they have her and Della, and it's a confliction for her to say they are protecting her rather than holding her captive. Landry's father is hunting her down, and it is terrifying for all to what the consequences are to be when he has her. Her taste is foreign to me. Sugar laced with something addictive, like heroin. A sweet shot of obsession.” Narrated in multiple POV, the personalities of the triplets are forged and the shadows of Landry’s secrets no longer remain hidden. Together, they learn how to play together, which leads to steamy times and a particular brother that takes the lead in the kink department.Oh my goodness! What is wrong with me. I mean... I'm not supposed to like these guys because they were all sorts of wrong for any woman but... goddamn! I was hooked. The Mannford boys are bad for my wellbeing. They all had their own appeal but Sully seems to be taking the cake for me because he was nice to Della (Landry's sister). I mean, who doesn't like a guy who is nice to kids right? If mega alpha asshole book boyfriends (with a heart) and sexy af age-gap, slow burn romances are your jam, then you should read this book! Just know... you gonna burnnnnn! 🥵🤤🔥🥰 As always with Webster's books, this duet took me for a wild ride. There was no figuring things out in advance. There were surprises at every point when I could have thought that I was on top of the plot. I had my heart shredded more than once and I was left aching with a massive book hangover but I don't regret a second of it.

I love the cameos of familiar characters from other series in this same midnight dynasty world and iching for a reread of the Cinderella trilogy already. I started the book not knowing that this is a spin-off to another series so you can expect my confusion while reading this. And thus, I feel like something was missing and couldn't find myself connected much to the characters (mostly the triplet) since the reason they spread into Croft World was to seek retribution for what Winston did to them. I understand this is collection of the two books in the series. What I didn’t know was that it was connected to a bigger series and it didn’t help the confusion at all. I shouldn’t have doubted K. Webster because Triple Threat was so good! It’s a reverse harem romance with a heroine and three identical triplet heroes. The Mannford boys have grown up now and they’re not as spoiled and bratty. Sparrow, Scout, and Sully kind of work for the mafia but all they want to do is escape so they can live their own lives. Their uncle gives them one last assignment before they can be free – dupe the daughter of a tech billionaire into believing they’re one man and get close to her so they can find out her father’s secrets.

Landry lives a controlled and sometimes abusive existence. She may be surrounded by luxury but her father keeps her and her sister in a cage. If it weren't for her younger, deaf sister, Landry would've left long ago. So when a charming distraction plops down next to her in one of her classes, Landry can't help but be intrigued. Welcome to DE. A place to share your love of Dark Romance & Erotica in a safe & welcoming environment. The aspect of Triple Threat I liked best is the redemption or rather the growth of the triplets. The storyline isn’t that surprising, imo, but these three men captured my mind and held on to it. I don’t know exactly where K Webster is taking this story just yet. I know where I want her to take it but she’s probably going to surprise us all and upheave this entire story in the next book, Death Wish, because that’s what she does best!! And I am here for ALL OF IT! The surprise twists and falling in love with a psychopath are just a few of the moments you’ll enjoy reading this book!!The story is told from all 4 MCs POVs and I have to admit that I was a bit confused about who is which triplet in the beginning.
