Oh my goodness! This book is poetic, lyrical, soul healer! It was so much better from entire romance books I’ve lately read and I’m so sure it guaranteed its position at best 5 romance reads of 2022! ( I know it is too early to declare but I follow my heart and my heart follows this amazing book! ) She pushes herself so hard to be successful, to be on the top to be untouchable. In that way she thinks nobody hurts her when she suffers from loneliness at the top, all by herself. Both of them were struggling to move past self-doubt, guilt and fear. I loved watching them open up with one another about their pasts and really support each other through those moments. Their vulnerability was beautiful. Eddings did a great job balancing the humor with serious, real-life issues that many Readers will be able to relate to.Featuring ~ dual 3rd person POV, best friends sister, brothers best friend, childhood enemies to lovers, fake dating, steamage Knowing of her predicament, Jude feels for Indira. He's not heartless. Together they form a pact to fake date over the course of the wedding festivities. It will be great for both of them to have support during those events.

Indira and Jude had some great banter and tension, and there were some extremely hot open door scenes 🔥
